Love this movie. The narration about “scrambling” and music makes it a classic.
MX in it's purest form. Thanks fo sharing. I love where they announce 10000 fans watching the scramble.... Lots of men and women on the other sides of the fences.
Very cool seeing them make stuff by hand.
Love it! Looking for a vintage bike as we speak and hope to be scrambling on it soon.

Greeves, Baby!
Retards down voting...sheesh. Hope this doesn't offend you Sally.
Well we know there’s at least 3 people in here that aren’t really into moto or dirt bikes period. Wonder if that would happen if down votes weren’t anonymous. Where ya at down voters ? Why shoot this post down ?
One of the 1st race bikes I owned was a 250 Greeves Griffon, hmm have I become "Pops".
Damn where has time gone
Would a dialed '73 CZ400 interest you?!
Thanks for posting the video. Very interesting to see how far moto has come.
Downvotes mean nothing. Sure, if someone says something totally shitty, I guess it makes sense. Otherwise they generally mean you've hurt someones feelings at some point and you're in their head. A lot of petty, small people in the world.
So, downvotes are really just a badge of honor to me.
I do agree with the poster who said they shouldn't be anonymous. That would end a lot of the stupid downvotes.
Wow you can’t post today the screen is jumping. Anyway what yr ? I think a 125 with the lighter weight is the way to go. You can get away with bad suspension. 89 cr125 with a Messico pipe is the Hot ticket. 90,s cr125 r very good too. Vital did a test on a 97 cr125 144 Tmr that thing sounded Great & it still rev d.
They’re fun for me.I have a “Hateful Eight” that I enjoy for the free real estate.
Imagine the nights....staring at the ceiling.
What's a down vote? I'm not familiar.
My dad's old bike. Still have it. 1968 Kawasaki 238cc scrambler. Believe they called it the "Flying M ". Last year of the red tank as well.
Wow, that's beautiful Jeffro. Takes me waaaayyyyyyy back.
Dave Smith had a wall full of playboy in his garage. LOL.
Thanks for posting. Enjoyed it.
Pit Row
Yeah, love me some old Greeves footage.
Don't get rid of it. I wish I would have kept some of mine and my dad's bikes.
That's funny. I bought a 73 CZ 250 last November.
Dave on the plate, too.
Yes it is. I was so grateful to get that as he passed the next year.
17 Years Old Greeves Griffon Puyallup Wa.
Hard to believe but I used to ride wth Nick Nickleson up in lake isabella. He was a Greeves dude all the way and could still ride well for an old dude.
I was there on Sunday, the wooden hut in the background is still there.
You have a really relevant museum quality Dave Replica
Nice!
Possibly but I would like to have an early to mid 70’s 250. Is it yours Zeke?
Yes Sir, at one point in time I had a pair of them. The one closer to the fence was my back up and was sold a couple years ago. The one closer to the camera view got upgraded with some bitchin' RaceTech shocks sometime just after that photo, was raced a few times more and has been sitting for a couple years now. Why you may ask, well my KX500 is too blame, I became obsessed with that thing and my poor ol' CZ got left by the wayside!
Oh man...those are some really cool shots.
Post a reply to: This is how Pops did it.
