I think it might have something to do with his injury at the end of last season. He broke his neck and might not be 100% physically or more likely mentally.

Hats off to Hunter and the people behind him, to go from always being injured guy to this consistent level over the last 2 years is impressive. I know he's signed through 2024 on the 250, but I bet there could be a chance that we see both Lawrence brothers on the 450 next year if he wins both titles this year, specially when Sexton is out at Honda?

Hunter mentioned he stalled going in to first turn and was able to thumb the starter to get going again. Can’t wait for the 8 more e start debate threads

Highly likely he would've been going 450 next year if Jett didn't get injured at the start of last year. Hunter was supposed to race east but Jett got hurt so he went and raced west underprepared, but I think if he raced west then it would've been very likely he would've won that championship. Only thing is he would've had to have battle with Forkner as Jett wouldn't be there to take him out.

Tomac has teammate lined up next to him on the start.  That will help from getting squeezed out. 

If Triple Crown was the phrase of the drinking game, I'd be drunk already.
