There is no way they can build the track. In a Plessinger video they said that Oakland may not even happen
If that's the forecast then move it somewhere else. I'm all for watching a mudder in outdoors but a mudder supercross is pretty boring to watch.
It’s not that easy to just move a race 7 days before it’s supposed to happen.
Cover up A1, and have A1 pt 2

If cancelled or moved I hope it's announced early. I have tickets and room reservations. And pretty good rain gear!
you’d think there would be an ample number of newer stadiums across the country with retractable roofs so we could avoid this.
A Supercross sand track would be the hot ticket!
Many of them are not interested in having a supercross race .
Sounds good but monster jam is on.
Monster Jam has the stadium next weekend. Feld isn't going to pull their cash cow out just to have SX A1 part 2.
So what is the actual weather report for Oakland?
Biblical storms and rain.
There should be at least one more Glendale round. It’s one of the best stadiums overall and has a huge floor which usually makes for one of the best track layouts every season. Usually, the weather is great but it also has a retractable roof. Nice hotels and Westgate shopping and food a short walk.
I bet it gets postponed to a later date possibly a different venue .
You would think they would have to decide that like today at the latest. Maybe they have backup plans already in place for things like this. Will be interesting.
I live up here and it’s been non stop rain for almost a month. Worse than I’ve seen in 8 years of being here. They are calling for another foot between tonight and Saturday. No break either to build the track. They are going to have to anticipate a mudder and build accordingly.
Damn...now I understand...a biblical flooding as mentioned elsewhere.
Wow... I'd been monitoring the forecast, but didn't know it had been like that for so long. That's crazy!
Pit Row
Pulp indicated they will build a tame track and race in Oakland.
Glendale has a good dirt too... But this year the round was moved to later in the season for Superbowl prep.
They need to use sand. Lots of sand. Call it the Jimmy Weinert Sand Classic (Paddle Tires NOT Allowed!)
Now if they could figure out a way to contain all this rain water before it flows into the ocean there would be no water shortages in California...I've been witnessing raging rivers of water down here flowing into the Ocean for the last few weeks. I've seen all the flooding in your NorCal, it's crazy.
Just returned home from Mammoth and all the Sierras have been getting dumped on. We just need this to continue all winter to make up some ground on our drought conditions.
1989 Miami SX.
How do you haul 100% saturated mud?
1979 Oakland SX…Pure Sand…Weinert CRUSHED THEM ALL…with a paddle tire.
With 31 rounds already on the books, it doesn’t give much of a chance to add a weekend later in the year.
Limegate part 2 here we come!!
Hot damn it’s gonna be Daytona 08 all over again.
Fill it with sand and put some orange cones out there and let them ride
