I’m sure many of you know Matt Burkeen, the maniac who qualifies for most pro nats on a YZ 250. He was recently injured at an indoor race (check out the vid below) launching straight into a brick wall… it’s gnarly. He was left with 3rd degree burns from being unconscious with the bike laying on him. He has glazed over the severity of his injuries in his recent vids. The dude has already had one surgery with more to come, and will be in the hospital burn unit for another week or so. I have created a GoFundMe to benefit him, since he would never make one for himself.
If you know Matt personally or have seen his vlogs, then you can attest that this dude is grassroots moto through and through. No big motorhome and fresh tricked out bikes. Just a clapped pickup, a YZ250, and tons of talent. Please consider sharing the donation page/donating so we can see this guy ripping the 2 smoke again sooner than later.

Just saw one of his vlogs the other day for the first time and could not believe how clapped his yz250 was. Really commendable considering he was battling with Deegan on a star bike not long ago. What an inspiration.

Matt's awesome. Can't keep the guy down, hell you can't get him down at all. He's gonna smile and be positive about anything that is going on. He's a grassroots weekend warrior who was gifted way too much talent and speed. He's gonna show up at local money races more than a Monster logo at Supercross, prolly give the locals more than they can handle and rip a beat up pick-up back home before sunrise.
