Suzuki done with Racing and will put future efforts to electric vehicles.

“Despite exiting MotoGP, Suzuki states it remains committed to its motorcycle and ATV business as well as MotoAmerica, AMA Supercross, AMA Motocross, and NHRA Pro Stock Drag Racing.”

From Racerhead/Matthes:

Also, look for Roczen to sign a deal Monday with the HEP Motorsports Suzuki guys where he'll ride out of a truck with Progressive insurance and the teams 250 guys and then the other truck will be Kyle “Chizz” Chisholm and whomever they get to replace the injured Brandon Hartranft, who looks to be out for a while due to a bad crash that he'll fully recover from.

Ok it's monday lets do the damn thing!.

I think KR...if the HEP agreement is factual, is making a great decision. Unlike HRC, a team like HEP will be motivated to do whatever it takes to make him happy on the bike. And...if he can take what many here call a "prehistoric" bike, and log some wins...it will show that he still has what it takes.

Will be interesting to see if he goes full KYB setup on the 450. That bike can rip holeshots and turns like a beast, KR could definitely put it on the box.

Not trying to be negative, I want to see Kroc on Suzuki just like the next guy.

But would the injuries that Mumford and Hartranft have had because of bike issues scare you/Ken out of the deal?

^No.

Even though I argued that exact point from the layman's viewpoint in the Mumford thread, Kenny (a pro) understands that any bike can break.

As much as Ken complained about a well developed Honda, now he is going to get on a non-factory Suzuki 30 days before A1?  First time KR hits the dirt he quits the season...

It could. The team will have far less resources/budget than his factory rides.  I cant imagine there is any current technical help from Suzuki as they effectively gave up on moto in the JGR days which lead to the team folding.

Wonder if Cooper Webb is concerned about Chad Reeds crash?

It wasn’t one straw that broke that camel’s back, my friend.

Well hopefully Ken is getting plenty of dollars. This move will be the end for him.

Doesn't matter what color.  Any adversity and it will all be the bikes fault or mystery illness number 50 and he rides around in 12th or quits.

Is this 100% confirmed that engine failure caused both crashes?  If yes, that's a bummer.  But, there would be no colors on the gate at all if you were to try to avoid any colors with mechanical issues.

Didn't Dungey's bike quit this year while he was running up front?  All colors shit the bed at any given time.

Ryan Dungey ended what was the last of the real JS7.

I’m guessing even if he signed it today, we won’t get a PR right away. I’m sure they’ll want to do a proper reveal with photos and videos instead of the typical mugshot in a team polo.
