Did he refuse the test, yes or no?
Yes, he did.
As it stands today, did Ken Roczen take an FIM Drug test after WSX? Yes or No.
Good point Steve.

If we're believing Astephen no he didn't..
Astephen said he (Astephen himself) refused at first.. Whether that means Roczen wasn't aware he had to take a test at that time or Ken agreed but Astephen was making sure he had to (for whatever reason)
KEN refusing the test is not a fact
https://racerxonline.com/2022/12/01/open-mic-roczen-situation?mibextid=…
Pretty plain. Sounds like he refused until WADA explained the possible consequences…then Ken & his agent relented.
Good analogy for this it seems. Ended up doing it in the end but still getting grief for initially refusing…
Ffs can anyone show any evidence that Roczen refused the test?
Meanwhile there’s multiple accounts from various people saying Kenny was laughing and didn’t seem fazed at all, while Arsestephen made a scene and refused. Then the test was taken.
All I get out of this story is that Ping’s stinky bait worked well and Roczen’s agent made an asshat of himself.
I gave that a pretty quick read so I might've missed it but I didn't see any "Ken was refusing" in that but he wouldn't be silly enough to say that.. Would he?
There was this "so when Roczen was told on the podium in Australia to go test, the agent lost his temper. However, he knew, eventually, Roczen would have to take the test." So Kenny knew but did he refuse?
As someone else said, it's all fairly silly semantics but it's not a fact (That I can see) and that's what makes these 'click bait' posts so dangerous.. Ping can hide behind the 'I'm just asking questions' but they lead to people jumping to conclusions and he should have to take responsibility for that I think, it would hopefully make these guys more cautious about what they 'report'
I just don't know why we NEED to know about Astephens true self?
Did his actions in Australia need to see the light of day?
It has no bearing on the sport
Where can I listen to the weege interview with Astephen?

How can you refuse to do something that you in fact did do?
For a brief period of time they did not want to take the test and then they came to their senses and took it. So when you add it all up it wasn’t refused.
Jeez that's clear as day so thanks for bringing me around. This thread's so clear otherwise i don't know why that didn't click
Being forced to do something doesn't mean that you didn't refuse. Kinda like rape. 'The reason we refused...' should, in any sane person's mind, be the end of the discussion. It is a point blank admission that they did, in fact, REFUSE. At that point, Ping's statement was verified as a fact by a principle in the incident. So here's the rub... The only thing left to do, for any of you that claimed Ping was wrong, if you are a man, with any honor or integrity at all,,,, is to apologize.
You don't find it interesting he said his rider takes different supplements during the offseason he would not be allowed to during the season, was carrying pills around for Roczen in an unmarked pill bottle he volunteered to the FIM, had to call the doctor to find out what they were, and then had the team google whether it was on the banned substance list??
The best part about this whole situation is Anderson asking if anyone has Dr. Lamay's # on Twitter.
Go on a high speed chase evading police and then try and tell them "I obviously wasn't evading arrest if you eventually got me!"

The post said that “KTM had (Roczen) in their sights, but have moved on to other prospects after his refusal to submit to drug testing.” But he ended up taking the test.
So is Whiskey Throttle saying that KTM decided to give up on Roczen because Astephen threw a fit about it for a bit, and then stuck with that decision even though Roczen took the test and passed a short time after? Because that’s what the phrasing infers.
But instead of providing clarity to that statement, there’s silence from WT, lol. So we’ll need some more info before we can say “everything he said was true.”
I thought American Honda's 'no support' was political but maybe they foresaw/ knew what Kenny does. HGH or borderline something offseason. Doesn't take advise, losses his ride. Gets tested. KTM now assume test will be positive, no ride. Chase Sexton Ivan Drago, ha.
Gee... Honda offered him a contract, he said no...end of
He was not forced to take it. He could of chose not to and faced the consequences.
They offered him no support, advised him not to ride FIM. He did & He cracked it and lost the Honda ride. End of.
He passed the drug test though ,right? So that would mean that he was not taking anything that wasn't legal. I have not listened to the interview yet, but from all of the posts I see on here, it looks like his agent said No, Did Kenny himself ever say no to the test? Maybe he was unsure if what Kenny was taking would be legal during the season , or maybe they had a tight travel schedule and taking the test could make them miss a flight? I've heard riders tell stories of being stuck at the track for hours after a race before they could hydrate enough to be able to provide a sample. It seems more of a grey area as to saying he was forced to take the test. If you say no to something and change your mind and then say yes, Yes at first you did say no. But that does not mean that you didn't change your mind after learning more about the situation . I think this is one of those times that perspective will dictate the opinion of if Kenny was truly forced or not. It feels like when I was a kid in 1st or 2nd grade, and all the kids were speculating on how sex works and details. A bunch of people that are making more geuss' and picking the parts of the story that fit in with their concept of what happened. My input here is pretty useless. But Again I am thankful for Kenny. What would we all be talking about if not for Kenny.
Aaah there it is, a rape comparison to put the cherry on top of this thread
we dont know if he passed or not, it usually takes a few months,
his agent said in the racer x interview the unmarked pills he carried he had were ok by WADA,
Test goes to the lab. Takes a while to analyse it. Maybe he waited too long and the KTM green light simply turned red. IDK. Ken got tested. His manager stressed. Whether it's jetlag, foreign country with no 23' ride yet, I don't know, but this trepidation at getting a simple mandated FIM drug test screams suspect.
This thread has veered so far away from intended subject to 15 pages of did he or didn't he refuse/take the test lol
I can't wait for the SX season to start so we can have threads about who blitzed the whoops the best or if Barcia's most recent takeout crossed the line or not. These big nothing-burger 20 page threads in the offseason suck
This thread gives me plenty to point to when someone asks what I mean by “Vitard”. Very handy. Thanks.
