Here you go....32 subscribers on YT, I'm going places man, I'm a pretty big deal you know!
BTW- I got a copy of the service manual for the 300sx so if you ever need some info or whatnot, we can look it up.
Thx buddy- J
Need some over rev
I’d send you my head and cylinder if you were still in business…
Thx!
ps- I don’t do engine mods anymore but can recommend some guys I know.
More midrange, but quite a lot less peak power, versus the previous generation carb 125’s.

Seeing all sorts of aftermarket ecu these days, there was one that had all sorts of add on electronics.
Two Stroke Performance in AUS is doing some vid's now and should have a cracked ECU soon, they posted some stuff of youtube.
Are you able to share this with us for the 300? thanks Jbone
That’s very interesting because my 23 tc125 feels so fast.
I would just say it means your riding primarily in the midrange and not top end.
Once I can get my hands on one for a few days I will...These bikes all share the common stuff of susp, frame, plastic, etc,,so it will be more about the motor on the 250/300.
2023 KTM 125sx stock reed block and VForce4 video, this install sucked!!

Does anyone know when a decent glide or skid plate will be made for this bike? Bare engines cases has always made me nervous.
There is the factory one and axp has a heavy duty one. The good news is I think you can use a plate for any 2023 ktm with the new frame.
I have one, not installed yet, it was from the hardparts catalog, like $70.
Looks like I was wrong and the 125 gets its own plate. Ktm sells it with or without the linkage guard. Enduro engineering has an aluminum one. Aomc shows them in stock.
Isn't it possible to just remove the seat, remove the silencer bolts, remove the lower 2 subframe bolts and rotate the subframe up like on the carb bikes?
I am sure it can be, this seemed to be actually a hair simpler and went I went to re-install the rubber boot, I was able to really send it straight at the back of the TB and it locked in great. I kinda complained a little bit in the video but it wasn't that bad..I was more miffed after the install really bc the bike ran terrible, like absolute dog poo.
I spent a good hour narrowing it down and got it sorted but man I have never worked on a bike that was THAT sensitive to a simple change like a reed block...it wouldn't run.
Supposed to go to the dyno shop tues or wed so I will post some stuff about what we found out.
Just the 125”s or all the new models?
Wow. That’s pretty shocking that KTM wouldn’t have the logistics in place to make sure the latest and greatest software isn’t available when they wake the bike up upon purchase. I’m sure the dyno numbers are way down compared to what engineering signed off on due to the software issues.
This seems way worse than the ‘17 switch to the Mikuni when the jetting was so bad. Hopefully they fix this quickly. Seems like the 250/300’s aren’t perfect but will at least be rideable. Thanks for the report and keep us posted!
It appears to be a SX thing bc I asked the service manager last week about if any updates were available and he said, "we did not receive any communication about updates", which apparently is how they normally find out there are updates with the rest of the line, with TSB's.
We both learned today that (with the SX so far), that unless its plugged back in after the 24 hour wake up, you would not know there is an update.
Wow, typical ktm, 5 years ahead of everyone else and 1 year ahead of themselves.
Good luck jbone, and don't bother with the vforce lol. Or pipes if older bikes are anything to go by.
Sounds like the dealers all need to refresh downloads on the computer overnight to be up to current specs.
1 year ahead of them selves
