They're playing to a scintillating 0-0 tie . If it's 0-0 with 10 minutes left they should pull the goal tenders .

Feel sorry for the yanks, trying figer out how a
0-0 works

USA deserved a win, looked like they wanted it , Eng looked like they was playing in slow motion and no tenacity

I think USA plays Iran next. There's just no good outcome from this match, politically speaking. Sadly, for many, it's more than just a game.

How does 0-0 work aside from no one scoring . I understand both teams get a point for a tie ? I tried watching . Honestly is devastatingly boring to me

Really ? I hadn’t even heard they were playing … obviously not a huge fan … but yikes .

What a fricking game, the midfield of the USA played with stout and authority. Looks like England played very conservative though. Was an awesome game, the US needs to find the back the net. Impressed with the young group. The future looks promising.

I'm definitely not a fan but heard it on the radio while working on the car. Hopefully it's no big deal...just a match like any other but it has the right ingredients to be stupid.

USA were good and deserve to qualify for the last 16. They should beat Iran easily. England were pretty much through before the game, they always play better in the knock out games.

Argentina v Mexico tonight should be lively.

From what my son said, we were our usual scared to death selves.

Twats spent too much time practicing kneeling , and putting armbands on, deserve to go home just for that .

I guess you guys need to beat Iran by 3 goals to go through, unless we lose to Wales, which we could easily do,

But irrespective, i wont watch a second of it , even if we get to the final.

USA is only 1 point behind Iran.
I think just winning advances them

USA just needs to win, that puts them at 4 points in the group ahead of Iran who would have 3 and Wales 1 (unless Wales upsets England) then it comes down to GD.

I wasn't particularly interested until I heard England are playing Wales. We better smash the shit out of those sheep shaggers.

Our route to advance just got a lot harder with your loss to Morocco. I was pulling for you guys on that one.

When I was in Air Force basic training in 1976 there were lots of Iranians going thru with us. We were separate but they did everything we did. One big difference was that they were promoted to E-6 as soon as they graduated.

I worked with a young man for the last 10 years or so. Iranian decent. Raised in the Kansas countryside. Feeding cattle, drinkin' beer, chasin' skirt. Hot rod cars and crotch rockets. One of the best wrench turners I've ever met. One of the best HUMANS I've ever met. Hell...one of the best Americans I've ever met.

I truly believe it's not people that suck...it's governments.

Incredible first touch skill from Jack Grealish and Phil Foden.

Well we got one more day to enjoy this thread. Who’s your pick?

I hope Argentina but I think France takes it.

It seems like the goal tenders almost always go the wrong direction on penalty kicks

It is, but it’s an American board. When in Rome….
