PS : in 1998, while in New York, I went to a few games. I think at Yankee Stadium, and another? It might have been part of the World Series, or, whatever your Premiership / Championship series is. It was a pretty good experience, not so much the game(s) itself, but the Atmosphere / People watching. Now That was Entertaining! I'm probably wrong, but I think it was when Barry Bonds(?) was going for a record, or, was it when a Steroid Scandal that he was involved with was going on? Or, both at the same time?
When I next get back to New York, I'll be going to a least one game. If she's with me (she's getting too old and infirm to travel without family I fear, so I've started taking her on some of my trips - it's 'different' travelling with someone you Don't like that much, but Love dearly) , I'll take my Mad Old Mum to it, she'd love the atmosphere, for sure. Missed them the other times I've been there.
