I was using an adblocker back then, different browser too. Now, I'm not....unless there is something in the browser I'm using that's doing it automatically.

Why do people like arguing so much?

I guess its ok to disagree but the need to get the final say is what I can't understand. Some folk just don't let up until the thread is either canned or they are clicked. Is it worth it?

For whats its worth, GuyB had rules and enforced them. He took no shit. He clicked me twice, once I deserved it the other time it was debatable but over time I think it made me a better poster.

ML and the other Mods are doing a great job and I'm finding Vital is a lot more enjoyable.

I just want the vitals on the retired Vital sentinel. Had to be worth at least 20 points lower on the systolic blood pressure readings and would make for a good off-season Pit Bits submission. Cool

I met GuyB at Atlanta supercross in 2018 and he was super cool. I introduced him to my wife and told him it was like meeting a celebrity since I have spent so much of my life on Vital, he was very gracious and appreciative of my kind words.

I hope he's doing well now with whatever he's doing!

(Also LOL at all the people who have been banned and feel the need to share their silly stories here)

I'm doing all right. Not really retired, but finding a job (that's worth having) at 60+ was (is?) a smidge more challenging than I expected.

I do have an interesting gig lined up for when the season starts again, but it's pretty well undercover. You won't see my name attached to it, and I won't be at more than a few races. I'm fine with that.

It's rare that I check in here lately, and probably wouldn't have seen this one except one of the old crew pointed me to it.

For the record, I get zero satisfaction from arguing on the internet, and struggle with understanding why anyone else would, so I definitely don't miss any of that.

Got clicked for saying how I felt about the shot. Others who disagreed with me and thought the shot was a great idea and were way outta line with their comments and being rude about my views were still good to go on with talking trash about the other people's views.

One of the highlights of attending SX/MX races was getting to chat with Guybro. The other was catching up with Roger. When I couldn't find him...Gibby always knew where he was.

I thought it was really cool when he was chasing the series in his camper. I drove out from Kansas for the first 3 rounds this last summer...tent camping out of my little hatchback. It was an adventure and the great people I met made it unforgettable.

I finally got my hands on a little camper. After I satisfy the wife with places she wants to see...(my) plan is to hit as many Nationals as possible this next summer. Just wanna thank Steve for the idea.
