It was a fun race, although the mud at RedBud is getting a bit old.
Because of the mud, fans were robbed of seeing the best kind of racing.

So on his first pro race on the Big Bike, Jett Didn't even win his class, couldn't pass Renaux or set fastest lap times so how have you come to this conclusion.

Jett rode great but the "FMOTP" probably would've passed Renaux, considering they were in direct competition for team position still. And he didn't. I'm not going to exaggerate his performance when all USA had to do in Moto 3 was ride it home, with no need to push.

Since years he has the bestest agents.
Backstage his team is the BIOTP.

Just hear and read with your brain activated, since years he is overhyped in a clever, wise and cunning way. (however, not so much yesterday)

Overhype a fast young rider (yeah, don't get me wrong, I think that he is the most talented rider of his generation and that since way before the vast majority of you start to pay attention at him), and somehow fun, and here is the result.

Now, there is an army of forlorn, frenzied, girly fanboy who getting wet at each of his breath.

Whatever, and again, at this MXoN the four best MX rider of the world weren't here (Gajser, Febvre, Vialle (yes! have you seen Geerts this week...) and Herlings)
Moreover, MXoN is a team competition.
And just a one day competition... (an example among so many, at this race Sebastien Pourcel beat the undefeated Stew2008, as Villo that day)

Jett realised great debut on 450 (others made as great debut on big bike), he perform a great MXoN. That it and all, no more, no less.

The results sheets disagree. We can argue Tomac was just trying to ride safe in race 3 for the team, but Ferrandis needed to move up as much as possible. He took too many dirt samples this weekend to beat a guy in his first 450 race.

going by last weekend, DF14 would be FMOTP....

IMO.... Jett looked good on the 450.. but IMO he would have been even faster on his 250... either way... he will be one fo the guys to beat this year in 450s.. which, he SHOULD be racing SX too, but probably won't thanks to brain fade from Honda...

He only won one race. I guess Reneaux is the FMOTP? He is the last to win. He definitely looks good. But lets let the results do the labeling.

One thing we can all agree on is that Jett definitely needs another year of 250SX.

He just isn't ready for the big bike!

I don't disagree he should move up but peoples memories of Jett indoors seem to be failing them. He's rock solid outdoors but still a little wild in sx. Ask Forkner

There needs to be a timer between pressing submit and actual posting to give some of you a moment to reconsider what you just wrote.

Can we stop using MXDN as the bar for being the FMOTP…MXDN isn’t about winning all the motos!! How did Glen do after his dominating performance in 2018?? He didn’t do shit!! Dylan was by far the most impressive rider of the week but look how his races turned out. Wish some people had some common sense

He actually crashed 20-25 minutes into his second moto. But yeah tomac definitely wasn’t riding over his dead. Even his moto 1 win he looked in complete control.

I think Jett, Tomac, Ferrandis, Renaux and Geerts were all great. There wasn't a dominant guy this weekend, but the young generation definitely surprised.

Individual finishes at this race mean nothing. The overall result does, however. Jett rode well, but it does not make him “FMOTP”.

Actually the track ended up being very raceable and I can't imagine it being a better day even if it was dry. It was an amazing epic day.

Obviously, #84 and #243 are presently the two fastest men on the planet.

Febvre is possibly #3, along with Renaux, Seewar, Vialle, Geerts, Eli, Jett, Ferrandis, and edit, don't forget Chase.

I have argued for the past year that as good as Febvre is, that he would finish behind three or four other Frenchmen as often as he would be in front of them --- Renaux, Ferrandis, Vialle and possibly Marvin are that fast.

I would LOVE to see the FIM and AMA get their shit together and do a few rounds in the US and/or the western hemisphere where EVERYONE races and points are paid as normal, so that if the Bullet goes 1-1 and Dylan goes 2-6, Herlings gets "50" and #14 gets "37".

Mixed series will quickly define who is the king of MX, and it might get to be #18 or #14.

I'm not sure if Jett is the FMOTP yet but he was the fastest man at Red Bud today. If he races a regional SX series next year Honda is foolish.
McG194 - I will take that bet, for whatever you want to lose. The Bullet will win at least a couple more titles before heading off into retirement, or maybe one last year in the US outdoors.

Renaux won the premiere class, the head-to-head vs Jett, and finished a step higher on the Nations podium.
Renaux = FMOTP

I've been watching motorsports my entire life and with F1 it's more about the car than anything other series. Does it have the most "prestige"? Sure. But that's really because of how much money the manufacturers put into it. It's really the pinnacle of money, marketing and machine, not necessarily driving talent. I would say in many ways from a driver's perspective it's more impressive to win Indycar than F1 due to the more equal machinery. The WSBK vs MotoGP I think is pretty much true though. I think most would prefer to have a title in MotoGP, as both WSBK and MotoGP are competitive, MotoGP is just faster, and WSBK is often used as a stepping stone or a post-MotoGP career choice.
No one ever loses a ride in Indy car and then picks up a f1 ride

Happens plenty the other way tho

Your right about the car being a big part of f1 tho , Indy car is basically a spec series
