Bench Racing - Motocross of Nations Main Races

First time we’ve seen Tomac on a Yamaha in a mudder…hopefully the blue pig fares better than the kawais at Loretta’s last year.

I'm at home on the couch...BUT for those of you who are there...are they working on the track before the first most starts in 30 minutes? Looks like no more rain the rest of the day...

Well, the low turn outs was one of the main reasons why the forseen Nations at Glen Helen in 2017 was moved to Matterly Basin. Youthstream was afraid crowds still wouldn't show up.

I think putting on the best show possible is priority #1 for everyone putting on the event and I would assume for most viewers as well. That means creating a track that allows for the best racing possible. At no point will the track be easy today.
For me this is a team world championship, not a show. If people want a show, go to a nitro circus fmx show.

This is a race where the greatest MX team in the world shall be crowned, and i don’t think the track should be messed with just for the fans amusement.

If something is dangerous, fine, fix it. But don’t take away the things that will make the cream rise to the top just to ”create a show”.

We never saw this in England -17 beside where it was so muddy it was dangerous, and we should not see it now either.

Speaking of water and motocross, Travis Pastrana is on TV now(CBS Sports Network) racing from pole position in a insane offshore powerboat.

Here is a novel idea. But it in the south. It rarely rains in the fall.

The no shows were due to it being MXGP. MX Des Nations would have a huge crowd.

Exactly. Also, why does everyone think mx is dead in socal? the majority of the teams are still based out of here and most riders still live here. Just because a few guys moved to Florida doest mean the scene died here. Its still dam strong. Regarding the low attendance at the USGP's at glen Helen, nobody knew who anybody out there was. MXdN is different. The place would be so packed. Pretty much zero chance of rain this time of year and if it does rain it only helps the track.

Anyone else getting a feed on MXGP-TV? Nothing yet for me, I guess they light it up at 1:00 , would be nice to have a pre game show

Everyone races on the same track, rain or shine. The mud will make Team USA work a little harder but I still think they'll take the win.

Unfortunately, I feel like USA about to get destroyed. The Euros are so good in these conditions.
