I wish more teams would/could take the star approach and put more of these fire breathing dirt scooters beneath the kids. Mitch does it right at PC also, unfortunately other than Shimoda lately his boys have had a hard time keeping the rubber side down.

Claimgate aside, Star is absolutely nailing it as a race team. Rules are rules, I see no problem with protests. And look at the money they’re putting into the sport. Everyone bitches there aren’t enough factory rides and riders don’t get paid enough. Star is out here fielding 3 450 riders and like 20 250 riders with top of the line factory bikes. Look at the opportunity they just gave to Guilem Farres, his 2 weeks with Star probably just changed his life.

Yet again, star is involved in another incident and it all gets swept under the rug. They’ve been at the heart of 95 % of the protests in the last three years. Maybe more…. It’s starting to get old. Fuel protests, protesting ac for cutting the track when df did the same thing yet worse at southwick the week before.. the barcia incident, saying macado shouldn’t be allowed to restart the race at Daytona, bikegate, On and on. Guys, your winning grow up.

This year's star team is the biggest team they ever had. 13 riders: Tomac, Ferrandis, JMart, Craig, Cooper, Nichols, Thrasher, Kitchen, Chisholm, Leblanc, Romano, Farres, Deegan. Beats 12 on the 2012 StarValli team: Morais, Stroupe, Cunningham, Swanepoel, Izzi, Sipes, Peters, Kiniry, Peick, Summers, Thompson, JMart

Millions of dollars on the line, you think they shouldn’t?
I would do some pretty crazy shit for $1M
I agree. Can’t blame them and understand where everyone is coming from.
My frustration with them lies in the the fact that they have initiated more protests/complaints than all the teams in the paddock combined.

Really? You are stating that as a fact, or ?

Exactly! Star Racing has built a multi million dollar facility in my city and used local contractors for a lot of the work. When you drive thru Cairo you see a couple of giant LED billboards of local businesses congratulating Tomac, Craig and Deegan on winning championships. I freakin' love 'em!!

I can't imagine for the life of me, someone complaining about this. They are employing good riders and putting them on good equipment, with good training and a class leading training facility. As to the riders, JMart and Nichols never rode this year and they basically ran less guys during supercross. Outdoors they brought in Romano and LeBlanc to essentially fill the voids left by JMart and Nichols. They've had a shit ton of injuries (stuff happens) and they've dealt with it in a more positive way for the industry than most other teams would have. The only reason you saw Chrisholm on a Star 450 was because Ferrandis was out injured in supercross. On the 250's it seemed like everyone was getting maimed save for I think Cooper and he was coming off a supercross injury to start the season. I'm not sure about Thrasher, but for sure every other guy (Kitchen, Romano, and Leblanc) all lost time due to injury. They pulled Farres seemingly out of thin air to cover for Romano and that guy has been top 10. Deegan is just getting his shot, he had a rough start, but will likely be a regular next year. Back to Chiz covering for Ferrandis....what an absolutely class act by Star it was to put him on the factory bike. If ever there was a more deserving guy, a guy that bleeds blue more than anyone out there and has for years....I just can't imagine. Star wants to win probably more than any team out there and it shows, but they also expect performance....they expect to win every weekend. They're not burning through cash just for fun. When they're gone, they're gone and then we can only remember what they did. And when that day comes, we can all post in threads bitching about Factory Yamaha taking over again and that whole corporate bound, unflexible, straight jacket like, non-apologetic shit show.

Most teams wouldn't do half the shit they do. Like muscling kids out of claimed bikes or reporting EVERY single thing they see to AMA... But I DO respect the fact they will do anything to win. Anything.

His entrance was all time that night. The stadium goes dark, spot light hits him and he launches from a berm and lands stopped on top of the finish line. He’s throwing nac nacs and whips throughout the nigh…He nailed those horseshoe whoops all night.

That was the night he had the $100 dollar bills on his helmet.
Wrong. Yeah he did. It happened during the main when he had a huge lead. Maybe it was just my section but I heard a ton of boos.

Wrong, I was there. No one booed MC. The crowd went nuts for him as usual.
Anaheim Stadium is nicknamed The House That Jeremy Built. Not sure what race you watched, but it wasn’t this one.
