We get that but again you obviously don’t comprehend that none of that matters lol. No one in court or nowhere in the rule book does it say “ he’s mean to me on instagram” and he should pay a penalty! He could hate them from the bottom of his heart and blow up his social media and it’s irrelevant, you realize this right? Just so we are clear, that doesn’t matter one bit. That said, anything else that happened with this deal away from them and the MX Sports’ office trailer is a different story…"



All reasonable, but Tim and Mike both are not completely clean from initiating the “ why are you doing this” agenda.

Snowballed from there obviously. Lets hope the rule gets handled more professionally next time.

You'd be deposing everyone, including the different people who have made content interviewing parties. I can't even imagine the costs just for cell phone ediscovery.

I can't tell you how many times people want blood, are convinced they need to make someone pay, and then start blanching when the $10,000 to $50,000 bills per month start flowing. Taking this to trial would probably be a couple hundred grand per party.

And it would settle, because people don't want to pay that money. And then you all don't get to know (as if a jury verdict one way or another wouldn't sway anyone's opinion now given how invested people are in this drama).

The first thing that I ask someone who want to sue is whether this is what he wants to do for the next couple years. The opportunity costs are immense. You really have to want to get even to embark on that if it is not going to reap a substantial return.

Criminal proceedings are entirely in the discretion of the prosecuting attorney.

So what would be a sensible resolution in that context. Set the kid up. Revise the rules to better provide explicitly what happens when the claim is made in terms of who speaks to whom and who makes decisions. It's too late to do that when the situation drops and people are agitated, which almost everyone here would be in those circumstances. Unless there is rule someone cannot be present, or must be present, it's to late to be making that up when things go down.
What should happen but won't. AMA steps in, enforces the claim, then hands down suspensions to the people that tried to bully Brennan. End of story! Lessons learned! It's that simple.

This situation really strikes a nerve with me because of the power differential between Brennan and the other parties involved. There was a complete abuse of power which is ethically wrong especially against a minor. What's even worse is that the parties involved have done nothing to right their wrong. Star Yamaha should cut the kid a deal on a bike similar to Deegan's and offer a day of testing to dial it in for him, or something along those lines. I know they wouldn't want some of their "secret weapon" parts in the bike but at least sell him something reasonable for the money he was going to use to claim the bike.

So, what if your kid wanted to get a face tattoo because some other kid convinced him it’s a great idea. Then you meet up with him at the tattoo shop and ask him “are you sure you want to do this”, “ this might effect your life forever” and your kid decides not to do it after all. Could the tattoo artist sue the father for lost wages by talking him out of it?

This is a screenshot of a screenshot. What did it originally say? There’s letters and writing on the image and someone wrote on top of it. So did Brennan Snapchat it and someone took a screenshot and wrote the whole “pussy” comment on top of it pretending Brennan wrote it? You can clearly see something is said underneath the text. Even the images say “from camera roll” which means someone screen shotted it wrote on it and re-uploaded it like it was Brennan who said those things. This smells funky and is a sloppy with lots of holes. Maybe he did or didn’t say that but your posts are very objectively against Brennan in every thread and these pics do nothing but raise more questions. They look fake and you definitely have an agenda

This is the dumbest analogy I’ve heard In quite sometime, I realize you were comparing someone talking you out of something but you aren’t at a sanctioned event, competing for a nation championship and there is zero rule book or rules for that matter, and being that it cost this kid thousands of dollars he would have benifitted and that he was a minor, it’s criminal. On another note if your kid wants a face tattoo slap the f$ck out of him, (I have my entire chest and some of my torso and a full sleeve. but never the face.

Wow… how many championship do you have in the sport that you idolize? How old were you when you got one? I personally find it more impressive that he did it at 30. Much harder to go as fast these days as we did as kids.

It’s to cut and dry in my opinion, he was stern and not budging on the claim until his hand was forced. Don’t think you guys are giving the obvious enough credit. I think the boy would win this one. I’ve been on the wrong side of the law before and a good attorney does go a long way, thank god for that! 😂 just hate it for this kid, he could have bought 7-8 new bikes with the money from that bike. Who knows what we could have all discovered about that race bike too lol (I’m also an engine/bike builder)
