So. Since Haiden is responsible for anyone in his camp/team, and they circumvented the claim, per the rules, Haiden could be looking at a year vacation from competing in AMA events. Could you imagine if they actually enforced the rules? lol
This just helps confirming that.
Looking forward to the interviews!

Brennan: "Yeah that's the damn point."
I think he's still the head honcho of Yamaha's amateur program.
But he doesnt strike me as the quiet tough guy type.
I could however see him going to someone and saying "we have a big problem here".
We do know for a fact, that someone within his camp played a part in circumventing the claim, whether it be the Deegan's, Star Yamaha, Yamaha corporation, doesn't matter. Them changing out the motor with another teams motor is really fishy as well.
1st off , I could stop shaking my head , but it also left me a little infuriated! I felt like that kid got bullied / shoved around and followed the rules , and the people with all the money shoved him into a corner. He even mentioned that all he really wanted to do is just ride a factory bike , and was even willing to sell them the bike back for exactly what he paid for it for. The engine builder " Derek " even said he wouldn't even open up the engine , and that's what they were worried about.
Through this whole ordeal , it sounds like it could of all been prevented in the end , if Haiden or Brian just said " Hey kiddo , why don't you come by our place and spin a few laps on the bike? "
I can't help but see all the wrong in the way this was all handled. And as far as Derek Harris goes.....I know some on here don't care for the dude , but I honestly dig the hell out of the guy. I've dealt with him a few times and he went out of his way to write some long emails and answered all my questions. Stand up dude in my eyes.
All eyes in the sport are on this event and also what happened.
Cotter trying to allegedly deter the kid from following through with the claim, to Matt Walker making violent threats is extremely ridiculous. And by reading racerhead last week...I got the impressions that DC just wants to downplay it like nothing ever happened. Which to me is unethical in a sense.
Bottom line... the kid made the claim and they took his money - bike should be his.
There shouldn't be any drama involved like someone trying to deter him or people making violent threats etc.
It's not just detrimental to the event...it's detrimental to the sport.
Pit Row
That would be circumventing the claim and Haiden would be banned from AMA competition for a year.
I believe she was the one making threats to the Coopers about hosting a national at Cooperland in Oklahoma. I mean real threats that were never public. I heard it from the horses mouth 11 years ago.
I like DC, but I believe someone has his balls in a vice, between MAV and this issue, he has made some mistakes lately, either by his actions, or pressure from others…..
