Tomac’s last 8 motos at Dilla 10-5, 1-2, 7-3, 7-3. That was massive for Chase to let this not go to 11 points. But I have a feeling Eli will be a lot better at Dilla this year.

When's the last time, if ever, we saw someone hold off Eli on their rear wheel for 20+ minutes? And at Washougal of all tracks
never
False. Stew and RC in 2006 or 2007. This series reminds me of their intensity.

Possibly 1-3 with Eli and Chase going down late in moto 1.

It is really disappointing that one of if not the best racing series on the planet cannot get a real TV package. I can't figure it out?

When did Eli finish 1-2? Unadilla could be a big opportunity for Chase...

Eli 450 Career at Dilla
2014 3-3
2016 2-9
2017 10-5
2018 8-3
2019 2-5
2020 No Race
2021 6-9

Chase has raced a 450 there once... he went 40-1

This is big going into Unadilla where Eli doesn't ride that great

He was good there on the Honda, struggled on the Kawi. With the consistency he's shown on the YZ this season, I'm not sure if there's really any condition that can hold him back

2018 he went 1-2 in a middle. Him and Marv in 2018 were similar to him and Sexton this season so I expect a similar finish this time.

Who knows why Tomac didn't go beast mode at the end. Maybe it's a turning of the guard, or maybe Eli didn't get a good nights sleep last night. Or maybe Sexton is turned it up and is ready to take the mantle of "I'm the fastest." The next round is going to be fun for sure!
With 5 min to go Eli was grabbing for a tear off and did not look like he had any. He went through four turns trying to get one. After that he appeared to let it go. But he never said it was an issue.

Musquin also went 2-1.

It was a mudrace. Both riders pitted for goggles in moto one.

If he pulls one great start he will be money. He's a great starter on what looks to still be the fastest 250 in the class.
How can you have 1 race on a track like that and call him “still” the fastest rider? Even last year.. he only won 2 overalls all season.. this years he’s been losing by 30+ seconds consistently.

I’d say the guy with the number 1 and 7 for 8 overalls wins is the fastest and still the fastest.

I think he was talking about the bike being the fastest, but this one moto doesn't change anything. He cannot come through the pack effectively and has been off the top pace all year.....the injury he had was clearly bad and we need to send the top 3 US riders period regardless of what class they are in. 1 and 2 are clearly Tomac and Sexton. Anderson would be number 3, but he is having surgery so cannot go. That's where Barcia and/or Craig come in.

He’s not Roczen, he owns it instead of making excuses.

While the question related to Eli, I have to agree with you that this season reminds me a lot of 2006/2007. Two guys riding 1 and 2 every race, somehow gapping 3rd place by 40+ seconds. I sometimes rewatch the 2006/2007 seasons just to see what it looks like when two guys are two levels above everyone else. Wil be adding 2022 to my rewatch list!

I miss the old days when we only had one shot at catching the USGP on rabbit ears TVs and no way to record.
