With all this talk about who should go to des nations at Red Bud, I got a hot take on that. What about J-Mart? Sure he’s coming off an injury and a major one at that, but he would have two months to get ready. Even a 90% J-Mart would give us a better shot than whoever we would pick in the 250 class. He also still races a 250 something JA21 and BamBam haven’t done in years. CC has never done anything special in the 250s outdoors. So what y’all think J-Mart or no?

He crashed a lot in his recent SX, outdoors and training rides.
You take the average Joe who rides and races. Locally and regionally we do not do 30 min motos. When we get hurt and spend time off the bike and come back, it takes us a while because we never had this huge base from previous training. Im speaking physical fitness on AND off the bike. People like J-Mart and Ryan Dungey LOVE fitness as much as they do riding. J-Mary can spend 4 months off the bike and be doing 30 min motos at a slower pace right away due to his base from all the years of professional racing. I promise you when J-Mart comes back for the last couple rounds, he will be up front. Like Dungey, he has a real work ethic and pride. He’d never go out there to ride around in 10th-15th place. He’s there to throw down.

JMart is a world class 250 guy. If he did a national and ran top 3-5 then he'd be a good bet.
Cooper would be great if he got good starts, but against 20 450s that won't happen. He doesn't move forward like Hampshire does.
Everyone else is either hurt or just not good enough.
France have Vialle, Belgium have Geerts, Australia has Lawrence x 2, Japan has Shimoda. USA probably going to have the 5th fastest 250 guy - statistically that means having an 11-13 on the board from the 250 rider. Really puts pressure on the two 450 guys.
In last 10 years winning teams have had a low of 14 points and a high of 32 points.
USA were damn close to winning in 2013, 2015 and 2016.
I think the French are going to be tough again and they have world class back up riders in each class. They literally could run 2 teams and both be on podium.
Febvre, Vialle, Renaux or Ferrandis, Bennistant, Musquin
