Yea I wasn’t sure why anyone has been paying this summer. I’ve watched all the motos for free on that link from mavtv website. Feed has been fine for me. Watched second 450 Moto on peacock.

With that said. They fucked up by not having on peacock. Or he’ll just do your own thing like mxgp does and just have it on the mx sports.

My god, they didn't have the option to be on Peacock. NBC dropped moto other than the three 450 motos they picked up which are on Peacock. You don't just say "let's put our stuff on Peacock" and that's the end of it. NBC has to buy your programming which they did not do this year. DC has stated multiple times that the MavTV deal was a last minute scramble because they had no other options.
My god, that’s why I presented a second option of doing it in house like mxgp seemingly does…

There’s a girl with a webcam that hasn’t even gotten out of bed yet and is streaming live to (probably) a larger audience and she seems to have got it right. I don’t understand what the problem is here.

I guess we could always go back to the days of waiting for results in Cycle News and hoping Wide World of Sports will show a moto! Or maybe Dave Despain will show highlights on Sunday night.
I’m so tired of this retarded ass take. Anyone that tried to bring up the cycle news or 2 am on espn argument should be banned.

Not saying it's great, it is frustrating to have to sign up for a 3rd different streaming service this year, but it took me all of 30 seconds to switch apps.

If you want to watch moto, it's not that hard. It's been annoying, but at least Flo isn't crashing every 3 minutes.
This. If you follow the sport, you saw the PR that it was moving to Flo. DC already apologized immensely and said if this change didn’t happen, the rest of the series would suffer.

Today on Flo, the entire race was flawless for me. I could pause and play at any point. It didn’t have issues buffering. It sucks that it was a mess to get here but the finished product is good and only 6.99 a month. Plus you can watch a ton of other racing with it.

For real. cYclE nEWs duuuur! Jesus stfu. I found a stream and watched the race again. I've found a free live stream from every race so far. And if a Saturday comes I can't find a stream, oh well. But this shitshow isn't getting any of my money

I’m disappointed as well. I did all the hoop jumping to be able to watch today. My 87 year old mom would always watch from her house next door on my account with peacock or Mav and whoever was before that. But today with Flo she kept getting kicked off as we aren’t allowed two viewers I guess. Our houses are literally connected for christs sake. What a bunch of BS.

Same sentiments. Die hard fan. Haven’t missed a moto since 2006 but I’ll live with YouTube recaps this year. Ridiculous. I imagine it will be a tough sell to get pro motocross on a legitimate streaming service next year. The numbers have to be dismal this year.

I was so stoked today just like the first four rounds. I turned on my tv at 1001 PST, switched to the amazon firestick that’s like 24 dollars, hit the mavtv plus app that i downloaded and entered my UN and password, and watched everything except switching to NBC for 450 moto 2 that we already knew we would have to do, and the picture quality was great! Not sure what the problems are?

As a graphics programmer of 30 years, I can tell you that streaming video, especially motocross, where the majority of the screen changes 30 times per second, is not simple or easy. We can discuss the cause of the various issues if you'd like.
MavTV has issues. NBC Sports had issues.
Peacock had issues.

As for people streaming content from their phone and it working flawlessly, that is most likely over a service that has their system refined, like YouTube.
MavTV isn't going to have access to another company's infrastructure.
What's surprising to me is when a company like NBC can't get it right.
I sent NBC exact details of how to reproduce their issues, and they didn't fix them.

When I subscribed to MXGP, they had issues too. They were pretty stable toward the end.

To pay $6.99/month and have commercials is fine for me. If they provide an option that doesn't interrupt motos, I'd pay a few bucks more. I don't want tonpay for zero commercials only to watch a blank screen instead.

I'm also not going to sign up for Cable TV just to watch MX unless there is no other option.

At least we can watch the majority of the races live now.

I personally am going to trust that DC and Company will figure this out for next year, and do their best for the rest of this series.
And I will subscribe to whatever streaming service it moves to.

This series is delivering great racing!

Same here. Live. Eat. Breathe. Sleep Moto. But done for this year. No new subscription on ANY new platform for me(regardless of the “supposed” cost). I’ll watch replays for remainder of season. Then hope for a reliable (affordable) platform for 2023. Really sad it has come to this.
This was the first time in well over 5 years that I didn’t watch the race either live or replay nor do I intend to. Watched the race recap as it was the first thing to pop up on my YouTube feed. saved 4 hours I guess but I’m done with it.

You do realize you pay for a spectrum cable package? It’s not exactly free over the air is it? That being said I already had YouTube tv, and added MavTV for the summer and am glad it’s been flawless.

I had a program designer buddy who did supercross as well as other events way back. He said there would never be a way to have motocross and supercross live and he went on with all the reasons. Within a couple years it was live...so yeah not really buying into that. What were dealing with right now is pure bullshit...anyone who thinks this isn't about money is a dummy.

The MavTv channel is INCLUDED in my 200 channel pkg...No additional upcharge for the MX races...It averages out to approx 0.30-0.40 cents per channel per month

I watched all four moto's uninterupted. both moto 1's on MAVTV on direct TV. Then 450 moto2 on NBC. Switched back to Mavtv for 250 moto 2.

Of course I would have preferred no commercials but I was watching for free.

Not sure why SX is on Peacock that past two years and outdoors had to switch
