Yes sir.

There were several "He got the Star ride from the YouTube following" comments floating around here for sure. It's only 1 moto of one race but fastest lap 3 seconds better than anyone else is pretty damn good in a field like that.
Lap times-
Deegans fastest lap was a 205.071, Hymas was a 206.062. Difference of .991.

Average lap times-
Deegans - 209.938
Hymas - 212.017
(But I’m all fairness, Hymas has 2 bad laps from crashes and they are not part of his average for some reason) 232.629 and 2:48.994

They are showing Hymas worst lap time was 219.050, which throws off his average lap time
His average lap time was actually 217.831

Was hoping Jorgensen would be there, he actually beat Deegan in a few moto's at the Southwick qualifier. He is riding really good as well.

the clickbait titles are going to be out of control

More seriously though, I was not expecting this at all, pretty badass for the Deegans

I still think they have a lot of work to do.

The pro guys turn laps within a second or 2 of their fastest at the end of a 30 minute moto.

All of these guys Deegan included slowed way down after about 5 laps. 5+ seconds off of there fastest lap times. I highly doubt the track was that much slower.

30+ second lead seems pretty safe to me

No doubt that they all have work to do, to run with the top 10 pros for 30+2. I’d imagine that Brian would agree with this as well.
But to be fair, I’m sure that Haiden backed it off a little, once he had a good lead.
It’ll be interesting to see where Ryder D finishes tomorrow

I figured D38 would be around top 5 or so. But leading?! That is impressive. Along with the fastest lap of the race.
I,m not surprised at all. He raced red Bud in the spring . There only 4-5 lap races but you get comfortable just being at the huge facility and you get the layout down. Get comfortable =get a big Win today. That shows dedication just to drive there then to race in cold weather.

Moto 2 should’ve started by now right?

Local boy Finies grabbed the start. Deegan second. Deegan made pass and was gone. Hymas wadded on the finish line and then Hawkins did the same a few laps later. Clough started about 5th and moved into second after halfway. Linville was about 11th on lap 1 and charged hard to 3rd. Fineis held on for 4th for a great ride., Beaumer and Baseflough battled together the entire time to the end. It was a really good race and the crowd for it was amazing. All team managers and tons of pros and industry were out watching in force.
Moto 2 at 4:30
Linville is a sleeper, he’s had a lot of great come from the back rides at Mini Os and LL. He seems to be up near the front often but slides under the radar.

Hymas with a bad start outside the top 10. Deegan in 2nd behind Fineis.

And Deegan to the lead on the 2nd lap and already opening up a gap. Track must be muddy. Over 10 seconds slower a lap this moto.

Maybe... They're running 2:20's now other than Deegan at 2:18.

They are all 10 seconds a lap slower at the beginning of moto 2. Maybe it rained?

When you have a 30 sec lead, it's ok to back it down a bit, especially if it's the first moto.

People will find things to nitpick man.

Currently on lap 4 and Deegan is lapping between 3-5 sec faster than the top 10.

Not. Even. Close.

Now we know there is also rain... Did it start during the first moto? Hard to know these things unless you are there.

I’m mostly puzzled by Hymas, unless he’s hurt something has to be up. He has been the guy and even two years ago battled kitchen and he was only 14 or 15. He should be getting faster and after how impressive he was in SX futures I thought he was by far the best guy.

yes it was sprinkling about half way through their 1st moto. For people asking about hymas he crashed on the finish line jump. he was also the only one doing the leap. it didnt look any faster doing it though because he wasnt gaining any ground on deegan.

Yeah, definitely seems off his normal pace. As of right now his fastest is 2 sec off Deegan's. Not saying Deegan can't be faster, but hard to believe it's a 2 sec gap.

Safe to say deegan was on another level from the rest of the comp. Nice ride by him. At least on this day, he showed he is very much for real.

Is Deegan at least racing the A class at LL or still B?
7/1/2022 2:22pm
Deegan lapped half the field

He is racing 250B and Schoolboy 2, the two fastest classes at the ranch.

It would be cool to see an a/b all star race at every round of the Nationals. Something similar to the EMX250 class

Does this make Deegan the favorite at the ranch this year?

31 second gap.

No one else withing a second of his fastest lap in either moto.

You may not be a fan of him, but that commands some respect.

Casey Cochran 3rd on the 125 is a hell of an accomplishment. Well done kid.
