There's a member on here from MI I believe that rides a RMZ450 and he rips for a big guy. His name is Mike if I recall correctly.

He can rip a 125 too. I think of this every time Vital recommends a 175 lb beginner get a 450, because they're too big for a 250f and it won't pull their weight.

I sold that bike recently and am regretting it for sure, figured I better take advantage of the market while things were still high, I barely rode it and it sucked to see it just collect dust most the time.

RC was pretty chubby his first year on 250s. I remember him just crushing everyone at Glen Helen on the KX250...I think O'Mara hooked him up w/Aldon that season and the dieting began. What's weird is that he was pretty skinny during some years at PC but got really pudgy on Factory Kawi.

Dude has a good handle on his diet now and looks healthy! Just goes to show, you can't outrun a Big Mac....

How are the soles holding up for you on the Tech 10's? I'm a slightly bigger dude and I was getting about 10-12 hours on stock pegs before they were completely worn through. Any issues for you?

They don’t last very long lol usually by 10-15 hours least one of my soles has hole in them, my bad left foot one usually, but after going back to Gaerne I hated them tech tens are the most comfortable boots made I think and they feel like they are the most protective wearing them too.

Appreciate the feedback. My left sole wore muh quicker also. I did break that leg a couple of times, but I think my issue is more from trying to shift with a size 13 Tech 10. They are big. Agreed about the comfort, but I can't justify the cost and time without boots that comes with resoling every couple months. Used to do them myself but finding the correct size insert has been impossible for at least a year.
