Stoked to have a bunch of 250 riders back as well. Anyone know if Colt Nichols is riding outdoors?

If it's what I suspect they are going to do, MX 12 may be the suggested tire on the Dunlop Semi truck sandwich board, and Cairoli may be end up the podium...

It would take a lot of new material or a pretty vast amount of moisture to run a MX-12 / 13 or Scoop there all day. Practice sure, first moto maybe...but the hill area has been so packed in for years.

Also be curious on prep as I believe the series runners, MX Sports, would like to see similar prep to what they pushed last year. Which was less soaking and ripping. Trying to get the tracks to be less of slot car tracks. It got brought up in basically every weekly team meeting last year.
Not sure the preppers on the hill at Pala got the message last race. Before 1st practice that shit was ripped 2 feet deep and soaked to hell. That off camber could have been more challenging had the mud not formed catchers mits

Colt will be back according to colt. I don’t remember him saying if it would be round one though.

You are probably correct, it will be sloppy in the morning and rutty/dusty for moto 2.

I'm just curious about all that sand that is sitting on the mesa back where the old supercross track used to be?

Which direction will the track be running? The same as round 1 or 11?
Also how true is it that Glen Helen will be run instead of pala 2

Mentally Kenny has already lost it, he won't last past round 6.

i don't really want to start a new thread for this so hopefully DC or ML see this & have an answer. Usually at the midwest nationals they have wash stations set up for the privateers to use. I have not seen water hook ups at pala when i've been there. I was trying to scope out if they are going to have a washing set up at the national or i need to bring my own water? Any insight will help me a lot! Thanks.

Remember how bad Eli's suspension looked last year at round one?

I totally agree. Anderson's suspension looked like it was more effectively dialed than any other rider... Who needs freedom to test other chit when the baseline looks that good? Also, I have no idea, just observations from a YouTube clip lol!

Last year at Pala they had only two hose bibbs for the privateer pits that I found, and I got into a disagreement with Ted Parks about who could use it, as the one near us was between our pit areas. It was settled when someone produced a hose wye.

The pro pits at Pala are going to be completely different this year, so I’m playing it safe and bringing my own water this time…

Is Tony TC222 already there somewhere?
10 days left before the gate drops, he should be there practising, I guess.

If you need to use our powerwash I should have more than enough water, look me up on Friday when you get there for set up..

Super nice! I’ll do that, I’ll keep an eye out for you at Glen Helen tomorrow too

I realize it can be hard to tell but I thought the exact same, his suspension looked so plush.

Any word on if the full PC team will be at rd 1?

I know Forkner & Shimoda are healthy and good to go. The GH Raw video showed Hammaker & McAdoo riding so I'm assuming they'll be ready. Haven't heard anything on Reynolds though. Would really love to see the full team all on the gate.
