Was it uncalled for? Yes.
Was it typical Barcia? Yes.
For 3rd in points should Mookie expect it? Yes.

Too many pussified peeps here. It's racing. If other riders did the same as payback, instead of acting all scared of JB,, he wouldn't get away with it as much.

It was entertaining and honestly, I have cleaned a guys clock more than once, and I have been the target as well more than a few times.

A rider could stab his championship rival on the gate when the 30 second board goes up and there’d still be people on Vital saying “Well that’s racing you crybabys need to stop being such pussies he should’ve expected it and stabbed him back like I would’ve when I raced local B class in the 90s”

Yes, already posted above. In Indy, he got docked 3 points and $3K. Wondering if he got docked the 10 points along with $10K fine. Pushed him back from 4th to 5th on the season which had to have cost him a little $$ at least. Hell, he kept his race position, does TLD still pay him his podium finish? Who knows....

Would love to know the full details on his penalty.

Finally the AMA did something positive. This should reduce Dumb Dumbs bonus by a ton. Maybe this will have a positive effect on Dumb Dumbs decisions in the future! I doubt it but we can hope.

I don't get it, you are on probation after numerous incidents and do it again, bur just loose a few positions.... surely at this point, that rider should be disqualified from the event?

Riders have been DQed for a trace impurity in fuel, but repeated dangerous actions that IMO ruin good racing and have the potential to harm other competitors just get docked a few places? Wow. Its not like these are just racing incidents.

So probation for a self admitted repeat offender is a joke. shave off some points. How about a monetary fine and a DQ for violating probation?

Alessi T-bone Tickle in 2014. $4k fine

Hansen T-boned Alex Ray so hard it snapped his knee brace in 2013 LCQ in last place. $4k fine.

And, the only reason Stewart’s pass on Barcia was clean was because Barcia saw Stewart and hesitated on the exit to avoid a collision.

Had Barcia not done that they would have collided due to Stewart’s aggressive riding and forced pass.

Why isn’t Stewart smart enough to do the same?

okay negative publicity is also publicity, but if I sponsor a rider who is negative in the news almost every race, I start to wonder whether the sponsorship should continue.
And I really don't understand how people here on the board can justify these moves from Barcia.
It's motocross not american football on bikes.
Don't forget that Barcia is one of the reasons with such a shit move on Anderson that Tomac was already champion this race and has been pretty calm the last 2 races to secure the championship.

I usually defend Barcia”s aggressive riding… but that was just uncalled for…. Race the guy clean! Last lap for a win or championship ? Ok fair game… beginning of a race for 3rd… just stupid….
