Think it’s so awesome for what Steve does for privateers, this year should be fun with them actually having a race. I am a little suprised Chiz is in it, feel like he is gonna walk away with this thing.. Either way, looking forward to it!

If I had to spitball what the podium will be, I have to go with Chisholm, Moranz, then probably Breece? Do we know how long the race is going to be? 20 minutes + 1 lap?

Pretty sure on the podcast Matthes said Chisholm was going to have to start backwards off the gate if he was allowed in, that will make it interesting on such a short race.

I’m torn about how I feel about chiz being in it.. didn’t he make every main this year? Just won a 250 heat race too which is awesome.. I get that he is a full privateer, (when he isn’t on the best 250 team there is) I just feel he is a league above the rest.

Yep, Steve’s race and he can do what he wants but seems to be a way to guarantee Chiz a big cut of the pot

Chiz is a full privateer though... Aray is in a semi. Chiz just happens to chizz all over everyone else.

100% fair game for Chiz to be in it. Sure he landed the deal of a lifetime with Star for a few races. Had that not happened though, Chiz is as privateer as it gets on the 450. Just because Chiz is the fastest/best privateer means he shouldn't be able to race? C'mon guys...

I’m completely fine with chiz getting in but think case should have gotten a wild card also. If Steve is letting chiz in it’s silly he’s not letting Cade in.

The only issue I have is this was a motion to get cash to the guys that don’t make the mains. Chiz makes all the mains. So yes a privateer but does he really belong in this group of guys? In the end others are still going to get cash they wouldn’t otherwise so thanks to Steve for helping these guys out

To be fair tho, steve was going to put a bounty on Chiz and whoever beat him would get the money, and if no one did Chiz would have gotten it. So in theory, Chiz would have been getting the money anyways

Curren Thurman does this at our local races and still gets the holeshot! Pretty fun to watch!
