Got the opportunity to ride with my son who just turned 5 this weekend, it was his first time on a bike and he did awesome! I wasn’t prepared for it being such an emotional experience but I am very much looking forward to watching him grow in confidence and ability! Here he is practicing for the podium 😂

The last time we rode together we were having fun in some single track at croom and he was able to slide just underneath me in a berm and straight up dumped the clutch on me and covered me in that sticky wet sand. Couldn’t wipe the smile off his face, probably was his last day riding so he could go out on a high note.
He bought a dual sport and some property in WV that we’re gonna build a track on, so hopefully we can do some cruising together up there. I’m not too sure if I’ll ever have kids but I can’t wait to get my nephew on a PW!
Lots of injuries in my family from MX so my wife was firmly against him riding (me too actually) but opened up to it after he showed really good skills with a Stacyc. This is firm proof the Stacyc is working to help the industry.
I wish time would pause but at the same time each day gets better and better.

My son started riding with me juste before he turned 5. We went to the track together almost every weekend until he went to college last year.
Next month he comes home for summer break and I'm really looking forward to riding with him again. Fun times!
I love riding with my kids, it's crazy to see how fast they pick stuff up!
Is that a MotoDrive T-Shirt?..
The three of us are all going riding together next weekend and I’m really looking forward to that. My dad, my son and I riding together will be an unforgettable memory for all 3 of us. My best memories are of my dad and I going riding and racing together from the time I was young kid until this day, so I can only imagine what my son will think about all of this later on in his life.
Yesterday I was helping at my local track flagging the first race of the year, Lots of great memories made, but nothing makes me more pissed that Mini moms and dads beating the fun out of the sport by yelling at a son or daughter to go faster. The 65 and 50 riders are hitting ruts the big bikes just made in the corner I was helping with, I hate hitting one wrong on my full sizers let alone a small bike.
Okay Rant over, I lost my dad back in November and I still day dream about going to the BMX track racing and having a blast. Nothing beats your pops giving you a hug after a win, even in my R/C car racing he was able to cheer me on. You guys know whats up, when you make memories you'll just never forget em your kids won't either!

He passed away 6 months later. The 2nd one is us at good ole Pumpkin Patch at Ocotillo Wells. Best times are riding with your kids!
Never gets old, no matter how old we get!
