How do you think will win the East West Shootout at ATL? I think it'll be a great race if neither of them gets destroyed by Vince...

I’m not expecting much honestly. Both have control of the title right now and they’d be stupid to push it and get hurt trying to stroke their ego. I don’t see them getting caught up in the who’s faster crap right now. It would be stupid to throw away a title over.

My guess…

Craig wins. Jett has a terrible night.

Craig will ride just like he has all year, confident, good consistent starts and will ride mistake free; faster than 20 other guys on the track. Jett will be blazing fast and make mistakes, causing a 3-7 finish.

The broadcast team is gonna be so confused, they’re not gonna know who to gargle all night.

Wow, Jett is way ahead in this poll and I got 4 down votes. What's that about?

neither will push for a win.
It will be who ever gets the start.

as both have said in multiple interviews... the goal is the championship, not a east vs west.

Wouldnt be surprised to see Hunter get another win tbh

Craig will ride like he has all year except when he sees Jett is just as fast as him he will crack under the pressure. Just my guess

Neither Jett or Craig need to win. They are both very close to wrapping this up and I bet they play it safe. Leaving the door open for Hunter or Moiseman to win.

I doubt they care who wins in that one. Jett is thinking championship, Christian is thinking championship. It's the casuals that get fired up over this shit.

I think craig has it. To be totally honest is a damn shame we arent getting these two together 17 rounds to battle it out. I feel like entertainment is being lost with 2 250 classes

The last showdown when both have their titles wrapped up will be much more interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if Hunter or RJ take ATL

I think the track being a bit more outdoorsy will favor Jett more. Hopefully they both get starts and put on a battle.

If they are both up front and running clean after the first couple of laps there's no way I could bet against Jett.

I think he has the speed edge over anyone and can find more whenever he wants.
Eg taking the lead back from Macadoo, then race 2 of St Louis when he passed and won over RJ who looked like the quickest all day.

100 % agree but also Jett wants to show the World he is the best in SX. I think it is going to be a barn burner if both get good starts up front.. They aint backing down egos to big!

Ditto, I think an RJ vs. Mosiman battle would be a good match up. Both can be blazing fast, both struggle with similar mistakes

One thing I can guarantee is Hunter getting called Jett's brother.

I don’t see Macadoo racing 1 weeks after a shoulder injury so yes Jett is up by 34 over Cameron and 41 on RJ. Can clinch here, unlikely, or Foxborough next week, likely.

Boys are racing to win, they both want to walk out of there as the fastest 250 rider.

All depends how rj races. Rj really stood up last week. Before that I wouldn't have been surprised to see him 8th or below in the shoot out. His results have been 5, 16, 7, 4, 3, 1. Add the west and not many times has he been inside the top 8.
Before last week I would not have been surprised if the results were something like
1or2 jett and Craig, 3 ,4 mosi and Hunter, 5 shimoda. Forkner is ment to be back. That could mean rj is battling forkner, brown, marchbanks, thrasher for 6,7,8,9.
It should be interesting 1 rj mistake and jett could clinch. 1 big jett mistake and it could be wide open.
Same for Craig

I picked Craig, looking at that start straight poor Jet is going to have to pass a shit ton of Yamahas before he gets to Craig. I hope not I would rather see Jet and Craig 1-2 off the start.

This is why they shouldn't wait until the 14th round to have a shootout. Both regional leaders are already in preservation mode. No need for the best of the best to push it. Plus, so much attrition has depleted the field.
