I don’t think a company owned but Pete Fox or another one owner by Villipoto can be considered a small startup that needs support

Canvas is good!
I had them make me a custom jersey and it was top notch, they were fast in getting it out to me as well.
Great customer service.

I may be wrong but it seems like OP wanted to support someone who needed the support, Renen isn't necessarily the type of company that is hurting for money from what I understand.

Skillz racing, made to order in Mexico takes about 3 weeks. 4 way stretch pants are sweet. Own 2 sets enjoy them. Name/ number or any logos are printed into the jersey not vinyl on top which is nice. Not the cheapest but honestly almost none of the small companies are cheap.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but this brings up a question I have been trying to figure out. Does anyone know what's up with Aektive? Tried to go to their site a few times of=ver the last handful of weeks, and it won't come up, their IG account has no posts either. Super strange, especially since the AJE guys were wearing it the last round in Seattle.

Definitely don't want to sound like I'm blowing them out or anything, I really wanted to give their MTB stuff a shot, which is how I saw their stuff was all shut down...

So are there any up-start/smaller gear companies that actually offer something different?
All i see is gear with huge logo's on it, with pants going for $140 or more. Or custom gear for prices above what the established companies charge.

Kang has stuff that is different. I have one set from them. The pants run a little tight.

I think i will go with AOT this time around. they say their parts run a little small also so i will go up a size.

We just ordered some stuff from AOT for our oldest boy. Heard about them at our local track and checked out their website. They have a bunch of cool gear from pretty plain non flashy stuff (my preferred) to some higlighter stuff, and everything in between. They even have some pretty creative stuff in there like a tuxedo etc. Enough different choices to find something to suit your style for sure. Waiting to get our first set to see how it fits and will probably order more for the other kids.

Hey guys, thank you for the shoutouts.
We try to be different in the way we build AOT. We have one of, if not the best support structures out there.
We also have designs that are unmatched.
Like others mentioned, we are veteran owned and try to give back to riders, tracks, And series.

Our gear goes down to 2t, and I try to drop 2+ designs a month, so you always have choices. We also do extremely limited designs each month so you can be sure you’re not on the gate with 10 others that look just like you.

Same a few years later..is Aektiv still going to be around?

I think seeing a 70 year old out there at all is very cool and inspirational, especially since I'll be there in less than another decade.

Seeing a 70 year old out there stylin' in his own style is even cooler!
