Ryno once raced southwick with a broken leg
Ryno once won an arm wresting contest with both hands tied behind his back.

There’s video of that and I didn’t see anyone get their ass kicked. I saw a skirmish. The best part was all the posturing leading up to it. The fight was nothing.

I had mono 9th grade summer it was a wo 1. My chic miss Jonette had a mega bash at her house. Our parents took a couple days to figure out how to ground us and pay for the thousands of dollars damage to her house. We layed in the grass sleeping together at the mall entrance, we both had mono and where wiped out. I also had shingles at 9 that was extreme stress from a literally crazy family situation. 2 nights ago my body shutdown from driving 20-37 hrs straight with no day off since 12-27. Massive shooting stomach pain few hrs of extreme diarrhea. And throwing up lactic acid for 6 hrs. My ribs and cartridge still hurts. Your body can take a lot of abuse but when it shuts you down to keep you from moving . It’s really bad. I had to multitask in the trk yard. I could hardly walk. Get well Ken.
Pro… I’m not trying to get in your business, but I’d be careful what you post about your schedule. Never know who’s watching. You seem like too good of a guy to get jammed up.

Few people can imagine the pressure that comes with a job that requires risking your life every day, along with the pressure of pleasing fans, being a role model, promoting all your sponsors etc. Roczen did it all. But it's not surprising that the strain would eventually take a toll when you're functioning for that long at the pinnacle of the sport.

I don't get how so many of you can easily conclude its a mental health issue. The guys been through way worse with his arm injuries/recovery, you think a few bad results is going to put him off his game? I don't think Kenny is that type of person. Even struggiling with bike issues, I don't think his results would be as bad as they have been. Imo, it is a medical condition....maybe a latent effect from the shingles?
I think you've got it backwards. The inference isn't his mental health is stemming from poor results, rather that the poor results are caused by mental health. Note that I have absolutely no idea if that's the case, just thought I'd clarify.

Just read 'In his words' in the Vital home page. Reading Ken's race recap for each round the general theme seems to be he isn't comfortable on the Honda. He mentions this a few times, and also talks about mid week testing (which doesn't seem to go well) I wouldn't doubt we'll have another press release form Honda soon about them parting ways. Hope this is not the case but all signs are pointing that way.

Why would he hate the bike?
12 months ago (even less) he loved the bike! Nothing has changed on the bike.

Quit with the silly excuses.
Don’t you understand they switched in search of something better? And they think they all found it. They all ride the bikes before they sign even though no ones supposed to admit that. Tomac knew instantly he loved the Star setup. Kenny’s in a spot where he may not like the bike and can’t get away from it. He’s stuck with it. Once that confidence in your bike is rattled at their level it’s no good. A half second a lap lost from a lack of confidence is 10 seconds at the end of the main.

That makes for even less of a plausible theory. Without knowing Kenny, how would you know about his mental state? Anyone with real insight into Kenny's life and mental health isn't going to disclose that information, and neither is Kenny.

Not being able to confirm a theory doesn't make it any less plausible.

Maybe he gets another shot at it next year on KTM
Like I said, I hope its not the last of Kenny. He just needs to get his head right. I think its a mental block he's having. And yes he was the overall #1 guy last year between sx and mx and didn't win a title. Maybe a change to GasGas or KTM is coming? time will tell.

"I don't even need to be out here racing" was the biggest red flag of them all. He said it casually with a shoulder shrug and that was the nail in the coffin. He told us exactly where his head is at, and it's NOT on the race track. He's got shit tons of money, hot wife, kiddo....listening to folks talk shit about his subpar results was probably one of those "this shit ain't worth it anymore..." moments.

Is there a reason relating to racing dirt bikes that so many SX guys are not vaccinated? Given Kenny's compromised immune system, many surgeries and extreme susceptibility to viruses in general (including EBV), I am very surprised he did not get vaccinated for Covid, which I assume likely would have prevented long Covid complications.
Without trying to drag the thread down into the gutter on this topic, from how it's been explained to me, vaccines train your immune system. If your immune system is next to non existant, there's not much to train. Dunno if that is his reasoning or not, but it's a reason.
