they commented that it was dumping smoke in the last couple of laps....and then he wins, and does his burnout and the hose let go on the right side and was throwing smoke. I thought for sure it was going to POP.

They are probably a little disappointed because they thought this wouldn't happen...they even talked about how Eli was having no clutch overheat issues on the bike.
Could have been sand in the radiators...Eli did get blasted a lot in that race. Look at his goggles and front number plate at the end.
But it shows he can and will make any bike smoke.

Best to just not engage those types....
But there are some truths..
*We havent yet this year seen a Kawasaki 'steaming' (Apart from the obvious loose rad cap issue- human error)
*AC9 never experienced the 'steaming greenie' issue.
*We've never as I recall seen a steaming blue bike. (In 'normal' track conditions)
*We've now seen Eli's blue bike steaming.
*Eli will admit he is hard on the clutch & Clutch abuse = heat generation.
