Whats up guys,

Spent the last month on the road traveling around the country, and doing a little bit of filming as well. Pumped to have met so many great people on this trip and I hope you guys enjoy what I captured. Links below -

P.S. - Watch "Extended Vacation." first, it foreshadows "The Shoals MX". Thanks!

Good videos and good vibes.
For those on the east. If you haven't been to The Shoals, get there.

Thanks man 👊🏻

As for the Shoals, I would highly recommend. Stew and the boys down there always have a perfectly prepped track ready to go and are extremely accommodating. After filming, Stew would throw me a bike he had on hand and let me spin some laps, stand up dude 👊🏻

Made a quick weekend trip out to Cali last weekend to shoot some FMX. Met Hunter Dyer (@no.limits.films) out at a local ramp spot to kick things off, then shot over to Jarryd McNeil's for an afternoon session. On Sunday I met Patrick Evans out in the hills of Beaumont to top the trip off. Hope you guys enjoy what I cooked up!

Here’s what I’m shooting on. It’s an Arri 16S, made right around 1955. They used to shoot live TV broadcast on these things. Later on they were used for many of the late 90’s/early 2000’s Mx vids (Terrafirma 3-6 specifically). Pretty cool piece!

As in Lyon Herron? Damn dude you’re one of my biggest inspirations. You’re one of the toughest people I have ever seen!!

And I loved Wrathchild as far as the videos go!

The title of thread made me think of Terrafirma or Crusty Demons of Dirt.

I guess I'm getting old now.

I miss the Thursday Theater from Transworld. The 2003-2006 vids were the best. I think one of the best sounding 2 stroke vids was Ezra Lusk at home in 2004 on his new Yamaha. Can't find the video anymore though.

T2 was an awesome vid! Last one shot on VX1000 (Handycams) before it all went to 16mm film from T3-T7

NERC Video is nutty to watch. So much young talent that never went anywhere and or is still around racing today. Winchester Speedpark is now a shell of its former self. Wish they would dial the track back in like they used to for the Regional

Turbonegro and Mos Def, prime way to start those videos. If I may offer a very small amount of friendly criticism, which I am totally qualified to do as I know fuck all about videography. I’d think you could scale back a little on the jump cuts and shakiness. Those white flash transitions are rad. But maybe a little less of them. And I would have liked a little less slo mo on Durham. I dig the fuck out of all of it, though. And man, as a tree dork, thanks for getting some off-road guys in there. There’s nowhere near enough 90’s-esque videos these days, and even less capturing the woods guys. Super rad stuff and I’ll definitely be enjoying all of it you put out.

Hey man, I appreciate all kinds of criticism! Im fairly new to this so any little bit helps to make my stuff look better to the viewer. I'll for sure carry those comments over to my next vid I have cooking up!

As for the woods guys, they were totally stoked on it as well. I feel as if they're overlooked a little bit media wise compared to the Moto guys, so they were more than happy to be a part of it. I would absolutely shoot any of them again if I have the chance.

All of them. But if I had to pick one it would be "SMP Disturbing the Peace" and the soundtrack kicked ass. At 7:35 there is a cool clip of young RC, Bubba, and Matt Walker

That and Organ Donors were super cool. I feel like they were hidden gems, in the shadow of the Fox and Crusty vids at the time. The claymation parts were weird, but kind of cool when I look back on it as i've gotten older.
