It doesn't represent any Republicans.

Every republican I know wishes we had a president who kept Putin in line instead of what we have now. No Republican supports what is happening right now. We have a weak president who in showing no backbone at all will encourage China to get after it with Taiwan.
You think Trump with his angle on this would be better for peace? Assuming thats what you mean with stronger president.. if not i think we agree and please ignore this post....

Putin is looking at brexit as destabilisation of the EU and the internal stupid battles within in the US thats dividing the population as an oppurtunity. Trump tried to remove US from NATO making it weaker. This is not a one cause effect but a long string of events leading up to this. The world outside US did not look at Trump as a strong leader but more as a clown.. I am not saying that the new US administration has handled this good and I agree the leaders around the world are way to weak in their response..But its a much wider scope on this than just Biden or Trump..

and it must be some republicans at least

At least 67 innocent Ukranian people murdered already on the first day and people wanna go celebrate the aggressor with a dirt bike race?

WTF is wrong with people?
67 is sad but 09-2011 ovr 400 a night where shot murder was up and down from 67 a night in Chicago. More than 67 truckers are killed each day. We don’t know what is really going on there. My dispatcher lives in Serbia in 99 when he was 6 . NATO gave America the order to attack Serbia . We bombed schools, community centers for kids, anywhere kids would be . And hospitals and clinics. We didn’t attack there military. They said there hinding weapons in the schools , not true , so they bombed them all. Ukraine was Russia at one time. Maybe it’s the same deal as Black Hawk a naitive American from Wi. He and his tribe went to iL. And said you illegally stole our land we here to take it back. A war started that crossed Wi. In the 1700,s it ended at the Ms. river. Remember America is a very young country no where near as old as Europe.

Russian F1 GP has also been cancelled

Civilized western countries should want absolutely nothing to do with Russia right now.

It’s shocking to me how many Putin/Russian sympathizers there are on this site. Previous generations would roll over in their graves if they saw how many people here were defending putins/russias actions

The propaganda is alarmingly effective. You all just immediately side against Putin/Russia? Could it be there is no good dog in this fight? The NATO expansion towards Russia, the US backed coup in 2014 Ukraine... Not to mention this war is great timing for the current US administration to distract us all from covid blunders and inflation. They can just blame putin now and anyone who disagrees is an anti-American putin lover. Don't fall for it.

These guys don’t want facts or a geopolitical conversation. They want to virtue signal and express selective sympathy, shock and awe.

On top of that, if nothing else changed but Trump was president, they would likely have a very different opinion of the situation.

Everyone agrees that Putin starting this is terrible. Some of us are simply debating the why aspect, and who should be involved to resolve it. Not one person has "Sided with putin", at least as far as I can tell. Maybe I am reading peoples' comments incorrectly. Calling people commies is quite a stretch, even for the usual, hypocritical leftists on this board.

People seem to have an issue having an objective conversation about the situation as a whole without getting their emotions in the way. All the name calling makes that obvious. It’s worse in the other Ukraine thread.

It is laughable that these MAGA-guys think that if tRump was still president he would do anything to keep Putin out of Ukraine, especially with all the cheerleading he is doing for Vlad from Mara-Lago.

Some of you are clearly brainwashed. The enemy of your enemy isn't your friend in this case. Because Russia has no friends. It reminds me of the Flemish Nationalist, who where so against the French speaking elite that they joined "the enemy of their enemy" at that time: The German Nazi's. (It didn't end well).

Being happy that this happens when lousy Joe is president, is sad. Believing that Trump kept Poetin in check is bloody naive, Fox News naive. The only person who had some influence on Poetin was Angela Merkel. But without her he looks at the European union as an ship without a captain.

Strategical this cruel intervention from Russia is very well timed.

I don’t think you’ll see them remove Mazepin from his race seat but the UralKali branding is unlikely to return, at least for the early part of the season. Mazepin has already provided a decent amount of funding and I don’t see them swapping him as a driver…UralKali funding is there to get him his race seat, yes. But at the same time he isn’t going to leave the team if he doesn’t have to.

This isn’t a good look for Haas …

We'll see, but with his dad's ties to Putin, I think he will be shown the door.

Yeah it’s kind of disappointing. I have Kongols the Vital appointed expert on anything Russia Ukraine related telling me to fuck off and forbidding me to reply to his posts because he doesn’t like someone else’s facts being presented.

Indy, why didn’t ANY of this crap happen under Trump?
Why did China keep to them-selves & “back off” of the Taiwan over-flights when the Trump administration got on their ass about it?
There are plenty of us that have watched foreign policy “fails” by this administration…from the Alaska summit to the spineless way they left AFG & even jeopardized the diplomatic mission as they did that…then there’s Joe’s little verbal barf about this Ukrainian madness that’s going on before us…remember his “minor incursion” f’up? I sure do.

Biden projects feebleness, weakness, incompetence and…worst of all…a complete absence of true leadership.

I think you may be right, but I saw an interview with Steiner that was interesting.
He was asked if Mazepin’s seat may be in question.
He answered that “it needs to be resolved” and that “There are governments involved and I have no power over them and we need to see how the situation develops in Ukraine.”
I think depends wholly on wether Mazepin Snr can keep getting the money out of Russia in order to keep making the necessary payments

It is laughable that these MAGA-guys think that if tRump was still president he would do anything to keep Putin out of Ukraine, especially with all the cheerleading he is doing for Vlad from Mara-Lago.

Dude, you are wasting your time.
They already have all the answers in their head. Any info or data wouldn’t influence them. When you’re right your right😂😂🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
