“Right” ?

I could do without him saying this at the end of every other sentence. On I’m exaggerating, but it’s kind’ve annoying. Other than that, he did a great job !

He did ok I guess. I just think he's a Dollar Store version of Pastrana. Pastrana was a genuinely nice guy his whole career, even after all the fame and money came rolling in, he never wavered from who he is. He's still the same guy from 1997 as he is today. On the other hand you have AC. Who even as an amatuer and his first few years in the pros was kind of a dick to people (some say that is to his Dad's doing) Now that his star is fading with injuries and the fact that some fast 250 kids are coming up to the 450s looking for a Factory 450 ride. He has now done a complete 180. He's not bad on the mic, but he also is not that great either. Just my opinion.

AC's smarter than the average bear, and that's his big advantage. He's always taken communication seriously, and it shows.

He was great on Race Day Live today, and has real comfort looking into the camera. Practice helps, too, and he's done more than most.

What was entertaining was to listen to RC and AC talk about lines and strategy. Blair I really do think does a great job with the play by play. And then have Will chime in with nothing but hot air. Lol I can only imagine watching a NFL game and have Erin Andrews talk about the current drive the team is on.

Like it AC when asked about being first or second. The only rider that answers honestly. RC saying he would rather be second is a joke, RC has almost thrown it away many times trying to stay in front of Reed or Stewart.

Yes they did. They showed the replay of when it happened and AC wasn’t too interested in muddling around talking about his injuries. He was very excited to be in the booth and wanted to stay focused on the riding and the riders that were there yesterday.

Have you met and talked with him in his amateur days or recently? I did, his first day back riding. I mentioned the guy I was with were there on their first days back. One had beaten cancer and the one laid off for injuries and is a quadriplegic as well. He was impressed they were back. He was attentive and sincere in our brief convo.

Thats probably exactly why RC now thinks he'd rather be following and studying the guy in front of you when you're in a battle? Many professional racers across all forms have said following is advantageous for this reason

He was awesome.

Has anything like this ever been done before? An active rider out with injury being the trackside reporter? I’d love to see him on the track and healthy of course, but when his career is done, I’d love to see him involved in the broadcasts full time.

I like how he was breaking down/giving his opinions on things, I as a fan was thinking about. Which Line selection in certain corners was better, getting certain combos. He literally elaborated on everything I was thinking about in my head and gave more insight.

That I love, catering to actual fans. Not just the supposed ‘new’ fans wanting to learn the sport.

He also has so much knowledge on the riders, special skill sets they have, facts on how their off season has been, historical Facts.

AC brings A LOT to the broadcast in my opinion. My wife couldn’t believe that was AC the motorbike guy now on the mic 🎤 she was actually interested in what he had to say.

That was one of the best broadcasts I’ve ever seen. Ac was unreal and held nothing back. Giving actual freaking Knowledge from a racer’s perspective. Even the retired guys are afraid of giving anything other than canned responses. Talk about a mike drop. Wow

I ain't trying to hate from the couch but I said the same thing watching the broadcast. It is pretty annoying. I think once he re-watches it and hears how much he was saying it, he'll work to modify.

I’m not hating either, I think he will do a great job in the booth, if he chooses to go down that path. Ricky did the exact same thing one week, then stopped.

AC9 did a great job for sure. Malcolm and Colt Nichols are two other standouts on the mic as well.
