I have hulu live which doesn't have mavtv . Sucks that it's no longer on peacock because for $5 and change a month I think it's a great deal . It has plenty of other content besides racing . Anyway if I can't get the mavtv app I may have to look into another streaming service , not married to hulu live . YouTube tv ?

You can watch it on YouTube TV with the sports upgrade, but that's $75 a month. I would rather they just fix their app so I can cast it for $7 a month.

Does MAV offer HD yet? Last I knew, it wasn't in HD but that's probably changed by now.

Peacock for SX, MAV for outdoors, and the MXGP package for those races... sweet. Maybe we can get some more streaming services to pay for to watch Monster cup, Paris SX....

The moneygrab never ends.

USA. I just want to know if the app will cast to a smart TV. If so, problem solved.

All my TVs are smart TVs. That is how I watch SX on Peacock. Problem is, my smart TVs' app stores don't offer the MavTV app. I have the same issue with MotoGP. To watch MotoGP, I just cast the race from my phone to my TV, so I don't need the app on my TV. The reviews I was reading in the Apple App Store say that the MavTV app doesn't allow you to cast it. This means that unless I want to buy more hardware (which I don't want to do since I haven't needed to for watching anything else), I will be forced to watch on my iPad or iPhone. I'm not willing to buy more hardware nor am I willing to pay $7 a month to watch on my iPad. DC is checking to see if the app can be cast. If it can't be cast, Lucas needs to get off their ass and fix the app and my problem will be solved. I travel extensively, and the ability to cast a program allows me to watch wherever I happen to be. At any rate, there hasn't been a MavTV app rating above one star all year in the App Store, so it certainly wouldn't hurt to have DC bring MavTV app issues to their attention.
I looked up that app a few days ago and checked on the reviews. Your right, its almost all one stars. No way Im paying for that if its just gonna give me trouble. Hope they can get it sorted out before then.

Here is the response for casting question, direct for the MAVTV team:

Yes, the app does offer casting and the new versions that will be live prior to the start of the season will also be compatible with LG and Samsung Smart TVs. That's a new addition that's coming.

But the current app and the new app are compatible with both Chromecast and Apple AirPlay.

I hope that helps make you feel a little more at ease, quadzrulebro...

DC this question is not meant be snarky. Can you please ask them if the broadcasts on the app will be commercial free like Peacock in years past? If they still don’t know, will there be an announcement prior to the season starting? I have the option to watch the broadcast feed, but will pay for the subscription for the commercial free feed if that is a thing. Thanks.

Yes, there will be a Saturday morning pre-show on MAVTV+ with the second half of qualifying, just like last year, which this same production team has put together for years...

I'm sorry, it's still being discussed and worked out, as some of it depends on ad inventory and other series sponsors. We still have more than three months so there's lots yet to be decided.

Thanks for your engagement in this thread! Makes us fans feel like we’re worth something.

I’m willing to pay more to watch a peaceful trackside live camera between races. Makes it feel like I’m sitting trackside in a lawn chair.

Don’t really want to pay for the app and still be yelled at by various advertisers every time there’s 20 seconds of downtime.

I get MavTV select as one of my roku channels but not regular MavTV. Hoping they will be re-airing on both.

I don't even have home internet and I am able to watch Supercross on my antiquated plasma TV using space age technology called HDMI.

I have Mav and shitty satellite internet so this is good for me. They have a good mix of motorsports. They do have all kinds of motorcycle racing, on and off road. Probably my favorite channel.

Just announced today…..

So now we have to go and get MAVTV if you want to watch Pro Motocross this year. Why can’t they just leave stuff alone? I personally preferred the NBC Sports Gold. I wondered why all the MX races on Peacock disappeared. Now we know.

Anyone have MAVTV?
Don't you have more people to scam out of money...

We've had MAVTV in HD on Spectrum cable for years. I remember trying to watch a race on MAVTV before HD and I couldn't even make out the rider numbers.

I have had a jail broken firestick for the last 3 years, $150 for the loaded Firestick and $10 for the monthly cable service. I can literally watch anything for free. Nfl package, UFC events, MLB, hockey, etc. Every Showtime. HBO, Encode, Cinemax channel for free. Hell it even has a 100+ P●&n channels. It has 3 different apps to watch any movie, including ones still in the theater for free. I can literally find anything on it for free. It used to buffer sometimes but I bought a service that eliminates it. I pay for Peacock just for SX and MX and that's it. My internet, peacock and the cable service runs me about $80 a month. I used to pay around $230. Greatest purchase I've ever made.

Not ideal for me either...but 1st world problems.

Went to Dish years ago as it's less expensive than DirecTv (live in the boonies so no cable). MavTv was REALLY bad on Dish as it was NOT HD...so I was glad things went to NBC gold and then peacock. Now after signing up for a years worth of Peacock, they're now out of the mix. With no MavTv on Dish, looks like I'm getting another streaming app. When will the musical chairs for mx / sx coverage stop?
