In 2014 SX (On a KTM) His average SX finish was 5.7.
In 2015 SX (On a Suzuki) his average finish was 5.4. (then he got injured- broken ankle)
In 2016 SX (On a suzuki) his average finish was 3.94.

In 2014 MX (on KTM) His average finish was 1.92
In 2015 MX (SUZ) average finish was 3.75 (Remember he went in to the series recovering from the ankle injury)
In 2016 MX (SUZ) average finish was 1.25.

So aside from 2015 when his year was marred by injury, his 450 career on a Suzuki was more successful than his 450 career on the KTM.

Yes, as time went on he matured as a 450 rider. But you cannot say his career took a down-turn on the Suzuki.

What actually derailed his career was the arm injury/ies. And the first crash was stated to be caused by the suspension on the CRF being too soft. And upon his return he used a different brand of suspension. So if you're looking for a bike to blame..
I haven't done the math, but I can only assume the Suzuki stats are better than his Honda stats too. Maybe he should go back to the RMZ

Webb has been getting decent starts, he's just getting shuffled back immediately in first few corners

Saying either is done career-wise is moronic. Ken had a bad start last night and was stuck back there like we see happen to just about everyone when it happens to them. Last night the guys that started 1-2 finished 1-2. We’ve seen Eli for years win races then get a 7th. I’m liking this as Eli and Anderson are the two I’d most like to win soooo……. I never really liked Kenny but you can’t say he’s done. For those that think because one guy is ok on a bike means it’s not the bike……RC had the most bizarre setup, no one else would’ve been able to even race it let alone do well on it. Some guys have soft suspension some super stiff. its personal preference. You heard Eli on the podium say he lost confidence last night after one close call in the whoops. Kenny and Webb right now are searching for a setup that will provide some confidence. Eli and Anderson have certainly found it.

What??? That's the most asinine comment here. From my memory, his 2016 outdoor season was the 2nd most dominant season in recent history. 2nd only to Stew's perfect season. The Suz had a crap reputation, but for whatever reason, KR really jelled with it. I thought he was insane for leaving Suzuki. When he went to Honda, I felt that it was for the money.
Nothing to say really, i just like this pic

Roczen is done. It's sad I like him wish he had of got an SX championship. I reckon he would of if he stayed with KTM and not dick around with Suzuki.
Dicking around with Suzuki didn't turn out all that bad...

Slow down and go back and read my other comments in this thread. Once you've done that, delete this one.
Ok. I see from your other comments that your first one was not your actual feelings. Sorry for the misperception.

I think Webb in nursing an injury, he is showing no fight or aggressiveness in his riding at all.

This has been going on since 2020 with Roczen. He had around 13 different illnesses or conditions when in Salt Lake, and even last year pulled over for Webb and just didn't seem to have the fight in him unless he got the holeshot. I am not putting him down either, but he clearly has mental blocks keeping him from that absolute elite level unless everything magically falls into place like it did at A1. I wish he could get past it, but it isn't looking good.
It sure would be nice for the fans to see him get past these mental blocks, but they are actually protecting him in a biologically survival sort of way. His arm wrecks had a big psychological imprint on him imo.

What amazes me is he was there when Blake crashed. A X-Games gold medalist named Stephen Murray became paralyzed from the neck down on a double backflip in 2006. His best friend and riding partner at the time Cory Nastazio was completely head ****’d afterwards (paraphrasing Cory’s own words). Cory had difficulty just being around Stephen after the crash to the point they pretty much went their separate ways for a bit, well, years..

It has to be mental with Ken. For the past 3 seasons he's been arguably the best rider in the whoops along with Malcolm. The 2022 Honda is not a new bike geometry-wise. He took that digger in Oakland practice, got domed by Chase and it's all gone wrong since. Watching him jump whoops is depressing.

I think something physical is up with Cooper. I agree with the above comment, he's not showing any fight at any time the past 3 weeks. The bike may not be ideal, but I don't think it is all bike setup.

He showed a little fight in the heat race this week. But it was short lived.

Roczen is going out same way like Windham just one crash away ending his SX career. At the end of career riders dont find reasons for risking it anymore and then you are Done. With his bank account I would just go surfing with family.
