I didn't notice any particular change in smoothness. You thinking in regard to any specific are? Corners, whoops?

He looked smoothest when on the Geico. In fact, completely clean shaven! Very smooth!

It certainly looks like he has more outright power, which he's said was a big reason in the switch.

Cue the 'all the 450s are too fast, this makes no difference' comments...

Rob Thomas and Carlos Santana, what do you think about Eli on the Yamaha?

I haven’t seen the the ET17 kinda smooth but definitely best he’s ever looked on a 450 IMO.
I can’t wait to see him outdoors!

He was smoother on the Zook in his amateur days.

His front forks look like Reed's did outdoors in 2011. The team has those dialed in for his riding style that's for sure.

When he says his tyres had "velcro" like grip and continually praises the team and bike, you know things are going good. Depending on dirt cond this weekend, if hardens up like it traditionally does, and like Glendale did, has a real opportunity with a 1st or 2nd place to blow this series open.

Ya, the Star crew took a whip to the blue pig and lashed several shades of blue out of it. They tamed the Swine.

Star Yamaha team runs like a high end swiss watch, listening to rider input and leaving no stone unturned when it comes to developing the bike. Congratulations to all of them. A truelly stunning job and Tomac's current performances is a testament to that.

I shalt no be longer calling the Yamaha 450 a pig......the bacon is flying.

Bring on A3....Yeeeehaaaaaa.

Whatever it is, team, settings, bike, lifestyle changes, different training; it’s working. He looks amazing on the track.

Good point on the traction, that's something I'll be watching for tonight. It's been in the 90s here in Anaheim all week so I wouldn't doubt if we get the classic blue groove asphalt track tonight.

I found it interesting that the Yamaha looked good on the blue groove slick surface. Normally it really struggles in that situation. Honestly, the bike looks amazingly planted

He needs 2 return the money he stole from Kawi last year out there cruising around because he was unhappy with the Team.

Eli looks like Eli. Fast as fuck, but with a little more bottom end.

I would not like to be his competition.

It's nice to see the blue bike do well after some rough years.
I love my 2020 YZ450. It's good to watch ET haul the mail on the blue pig. Star definitely knows how to set the YZs up.
