What is Friese even doing out there? He should be banned from competition riding like that towards the points leader. Craig has never passed him dirty, and he constantly does it. Its time the guy goes on probation until the end of his career. Sick of it.

He does do a lot of bonehead moves but hes also trying to win… just because youre the leader doesnt mean you cant get clocked into next week for not covering your inside line

All Friese had to do was take Craig down and he would have finished on the podium. Given the circumstances and money on the line, I think his tactics were remarkably civil.

Yes everyone should pull over for Caig. I thought racing was about fighting for every position. Remember Emig was know as a dirty and dangerous rider. He would holeshot and swerve all over to keep people behind him. Now we remember him as a champion.

Frieze had started in 5th and moved up to third by the time Craig got to him. He had just as much of a right to that position as Craig did and I don’t see anything wrong with making the guy behind you “earn it”. Friese didn’t get dirty or do anything to put either rider into any undue risk.

Everybody knows you have to win A1 and establish yourself as the points leader early so that you're immune to being raced against. Block passes only apply to riders with black or white backgrounds, red is off-limits.

If you're not racing forward, it's unnecessary. Friese would have ended up on the ground if I were in Craig's position.

I don’t like Vince, hate that he’s constantly a road block and is fighting hard with guys that literally drop him in 1-2 corners, but he has just as much right to be out there as anyone else. He’s fast and is a great rider.

Sounds like some of you guys are completely missing my point. I still believe rubbing is racing. Don't get me wrong. But there's a difference between making an advancement on your position, making a nice aggressive pass, or a last lap victory takeout. And then it's something completely different when you are no longer racing forward, you're just trying to stop on the track and aim at the guy who's going to pass you anyways because you're slower. That's not racing at that point.

He literally aimed at him and slammed on the brakes... Brake checking is not racing.

Agreed. I’m all for aggressive racing when necessary, but when you know you don’t have the speed and resort to trying to make someone fall to win just reeks of desperation and cowardice. See also: Barcia.

For what it’s worth, Christian didn’t seem too bothered by the move when asked during the post-race presser. Had he gone down, I imagine his tone would have been a bit different.

Vince gets a lot of eyeballs.... he rides the way he has always ridden - great starter, then smeshes people as he fades... he has great speed... good enough to be a top 3 guy in the 250s... but his attitude gets in the way.... fun to watch, but it would suck to actually be on track with him.... LOL

Vince might be a nice guy off the track but some of his moves are questionable. Yes he was in front on Craig and when he took it high in the berm to block Craig's line that was fine. My issue with this is when he almost came to a compete stop at the top of the berm to hold Craig up. The block was already completed before he did this and I believe not necessary. Something about Friese's mindset completely changes when on the track.

Vince is 4th in points, 8 down from 3rd. He has a legit shot at getting top 3 in the series. I don't blame him and Craig can find a way to make the pass.

Craig fan here btw and have no real opinion on Vince.

Guess the rest of these guys are pushovers and will let someone clean them out repeatedly or endanger them on the track.

When Craig went out of his way to mess with Friese in the heat it was obvious it would come back to bite him in the main. Friese was in third and had every right to fight for his position.

The bad news is: it looks like Craig's starts aren't as good as they were at the first round, so he will have to be around Friese in almost every race.
