Get Webb & Marv off that Orange PIG

Edited Date/Time 1/25/2022 4:06am
Well lets stir the pot some more!

As the topic says get Webb, Marv and AP7 off that orange pig! Webb couldnt get around that blue pig, Marv dropped positions like it was going out of style and did AP7 even race??

and bam bam on that red aka know as the old orange pig is getting in the way of lappers.

looks like 2022 sx is the battle of the pigs.

What about the Red pig that has never won a SX championship?
yes you are correct.

what a pig!
at least the blu pig has won championships.
I guess we will have to rename the 450 class to the pig class

Hi. I'm Manny. I ride a KTM450SX-F.

And I can see that when The Whoops Are Keepin' It Real...?
KTM Struggles.

That's how it appears.
For now.

As for Orange Pigs, Blue Pigs, Red Pigs...hell...Whatever-Pigs...?
Never have, never will have...the need to "go there".

Last night, it was a Kawasaki that had Smoke Signals coming from it as my guy was making a run for The Red Plate...and...ya know what? Shit happens. Hell, I'm "TeamGreen" and even I was screaming at that Green bike! Grinning

So, as I text someone to get me some AEO Carson Brown Replica graphics for my Orange Pig...and I sip my coffee...I'll continue to read these threads and have a laugh & I hope you all do, too!

C U @ A2.

All the talk with the new bike of "we tried to eliminate the KTM-squat".. I think it was the wrong move for Webb.

Those flat corners were absolutely KILLING him last night. He was tiptoeing around them like he was on stilts. The bike looks like it has too much hold up, sitting too high, not compressing for the corners. On the old bike, you could visually see it sitting down lower and compressing. Webb was the master of the corners last year. He could cut down, hug the flat bottom of the bowls, rail anywhere and the bike would just stick. Now he looks like he's afraid he's going to tip over if he leans the bike.

I'd argue all four strokes are ugly pigs.

Yeah, it appears that the new KTM has some suspension or linkage issues, Saw Marvin last night just struggling through the whoop sections and I don't think it is a rider fitness thing...

Yup. Never buy a first year KTM, it still takes at least a year to get things figured out.

FWIW, I feel like we're not seeing Coop as low in the turns as he typically has been since being on the pumpkin... he does look more consistent in the whoops, but he's running more traditional lines in the turns for sure.

Marv almost looks like he's struggling for traction in the turns, but I'm quite sure we've read before that Marv runs a surprisingly stiff bike. Think Kenny said when they were both on Orange that his bike was miles softer than Marv's.

Let’s just stop the homologation rule. These factory bikes are made of unobtainaium anyway.

Can Marv (or Coop) bring out last year’s bike and race it, like Marv did in Paris?

Technically they could, yes. The RM/ATV/MC KTM is still riding last year's platform.

It won't happen because they're paid by the factory to promote and develop the new model.
