Cool that Method is at least trying something different. Not sure how those graphics would ever hold up in real world use, for the average person. But looks kinda cool on this bike (and Deegan's at LL.) Only slight complaint I have is when I saw the initial pic of Barcia's bike in the dark, it looked perfect. But the pics of the bike outside and him riding, the red looks like an orangish tint, which I sort of hate. Still cool though. Get's your attention and the Factory GasGas bikes just look amazing regardless.

Kite hubs, Bulldog spokes, DID rims, Koto bearings. I'm wondering what Method has to do with them? Hopefully they branch out and make their own product.

They look cool. I'd prefer to have seen the reds match, however.

Right there with you on that, I like the effort, but don't like the look of them personally and the red does look off in some pics and that's bugging the shit outta me.

I remember some high end DH MTB wheels used to have coated / painted rims and graphics beneath lacquer, but that sounds weighty, so if they are just stickers you'd expect them to get haggard fast.

Smart "Branding Move" on Methods part. I'm also wondering how it'll hold up, the paint/decals...that is, in the long run.

Methods been a part of the TLD sponsorship package for a while. I'm stoked that they are a part of our sport.

Gasgas seem to have a deeper, slightly darker red than like a Honda. So it might be a bit harder to color-match. Just that orangish glow in the light bothers me. Certainly not a huge deal though. I bet the bike is going to look awesome out there on the track at A1.

I like the color, just match some of that into the graphics package and it'll look sick.
I guess the tricky part is making it look good with RedBull logo without it looking like a fruit loops bike haha

To have a press release for this is kind of funny. They aren’t running method race wheels. They are running method graphics on someone else’s wheel.

So they are DID rims painted red and that makes them Methog Race Wheels. Giving them different name and higher price will benefit rider.... oh no it doesnt.
GasGas looked way better with black wheels.

Kidding, of course.

Something different, looks cool if done right and another way for someone to support a race team. I only see this as positive, not sure why there’s so many people against it. When the bike is on the stand, your eyes definitely are drawn to the giant logo on the rim since you don’t really see that as an area with design or logos typically, so it’s a genius way to advertise on a bike.

I do think it's good advertising. That caught my eye right away - I wasn't sure what I was seeing at first.
I like how MTB teams line up their tire/rim logos. Maybe that will catch on with Motocross.

Works way better than a sticker on a fender…I too am a little surprised by the negative comments I’m just assuming that people don’t know that Method is an off-road wheel company that produces wheels for UTV’s, trucks and Jeeps….they won’t be selling these wheels, it’s a marketing campaign not a new motorcycle rim manufacturer…

It marks the lightest point on the tire, so the idea is you should line that part of the tire up with the heaviest part of the wheel (valve stem or rim lock) for it to be the most balanced. Not sure how much it matters in moto since we don't use wheel weights to balance wheels but every little detail couldn't hurt, I suppose.
