I would submit the Pulp interview with RC himself stating that James was the fastest. He said James was always faster, so he (RC) would try to pressure him into mistakes, that was the only way he could beat JS7 most races.

Good to see him shed a few and also good to see him putting around again. Glad to see he made it through the hate the thought of riding a dirt bike or being at his track phase of retirement and hopefully he can enjoy just riding with his son.

And why just these two were leaked to the public?

I do believe that at the times the Stewart’s were ‘levering’ Kawi to put Lil’James on the factory team as opposed to the PC squad- were these two photos leaked on purpose to help with that ‘leverage’??

according to RC the reason Honda didnt try hard to keep Carmichael was because they (honda) were making another run at Stewart for 2005.

Now imagine him on a cr250 or crf450?!? woulda been insane

I wouldn’t say the CR250 was any better a bike than the KX250 at the time.
But maybe the CRF was better than the KXF in its early years, simply because the CRF had been developed for four years longer.

I think Herlings is likely the best motocross racer on the planet right now, but he doesn't ride SX and I don't think he is the best ever.....RC will always own that. There are 4-6 others here that would no doubt challenge him if they raced moto all year long. Just like Herlings would be competitive in SX if he came here. Comparing Herlings or really anyone to Stew is just not even close. Every time Stewart was on the track your jaw would drop at least once and he could do things that RC, Windham, Reed, and numerous others have said they couldn't believe.....and that's coming from some of the best ever which is far more reputable than any of us typing away on a keyboard.
