From first race to last win, this took way longer to make than it should have and re-living these races was far more enjoyable than the end product. So many memories watching all these races again, even when you know the outcome, good or bad, it was just as exciting as it was 15 years ago. So with that, enjoy! Or don't I guess if you don't want to.

Stew is, of course, incredible.... but, man, my main takeaway was how the whoops seemed to trend less and less gnarly over the years.

Pretty awesome!

Not that whoops aren't difficult now but back in his early days on 2 strokes it took some knarly balls to hit those whoops at full speed. Even just trying to jump through was a hell of a risk. I miss the days when the biggest difference between the top guys and the rest was who could jump the triple every lap and who could blitz the whoops.

A few things I noticed when making the video was that his corner speed and his speed through the rhythm sections was also unbelievable. That and Ralph LOVED James!

Amazing how he just pulls right up on RC in the whoops. We all know the whoops weren't RC's best part of the track, but still, that's a five-time champ we're talking about.

Bummer, looks like copyright took out about 10 minutes of material. Luckily it's long enough the only clip I can notice so far is A1 2009 when James missed the shift and Chad plowed into him.

Was well known that Stew and Reedy both ran super stiff forks just for the whoops. Didn’t seem to hurt Stew in the corners though!

I think one of the things that made James Stewart such a blast to watch, and why he was so far ahead of a lot of other riders in his era was that he was 100% full-on committed to every obstacle on a track, and had such a high confidence level in his own ability that he just "went for it" when some others may have backed off a hair.

Of course...he also crashed his brains out more than a few times by riding like that too.
