It seems like Floresville Cycle Ranch near San Antonio is for sale. Just when the track was getting good and they built a nasty uphill triple, now it's for sale. Has anyone heard of a solution to cycle ranch closing?

My good friend has been doing the drone footage for the track. He didn't mention it but i hope it stays open.

Isnt it 20 miles from San Antonio? Doesn't sound like its in the middle of nowhere but I've never been.

Is it closed to riding? Nothing has been posted on their instagram about it. Why is this place always changing hands every few years?

Shame. It is a National Caliber track and always had so much potential and still does.
Hope someone can keep it going. I remember the 4 stroke nationals in early 2000s and the track was one of the best tracks in Texas! I feel for Ian the owner also.
He has worked deals with others to buy or manage and run the place many times and every time after a couple years it falls apart.

Rumor around the tracks here is the latest guy running the track got busted for trafficking. It explains how he was able to come in and dump so much money into it so fast. Like I said, rumor so I don’t have hard facts. There was also something about 200+ lbs of weed being taken out of there too. Don’t know, the new track sucked so it would be awesome if someone bought it and made it flow again.

My buddy did find a price on buying the track tho, $1.5m gets it.

Sucks that a great track is having trouble. Navarino ski hill has been for sale for awhile. The chair lift needs major repairs. There is a 1 story lodge the 2 story burnt down. I made a track on it in 1990, it is sand. A off rd promoter had a race there a few yrs ago, 40 miles west of Green Bay.
