Untill the lil pup can bark like a dawg, the pup remains at the puppy pound.
All i got to say on this one is sweet looking bikes guys.
She would be pissed if she just read that non sense.
What happens when a dawg barks like a pup.
I’m allergic to pups.
Just oil extra heavy around the lip seems good enough.
This type of thing is why I alway use the TwinAir power flow kit. Sure, its about 200 bucks, but you know that thing is sealed really well. It has the same clip mechanism against the back, throttle side of the box, but it uses a screw to clamp it down. Also, you can get a nice screw-on wash cover, and I jam paper towels in the white intake thing to be extra certain no water gets in the motor during a wash.
No need to grease the lip if you oil the filter properly !
Here what twinair says on their website:
"Soak filter in ORIGINAL Liquid Power Filter Oil, making sure to saturate the entire filter, coating the filter uniformly. Be sure to apply oil to the inside and outside of the filter.
Squeeze excess oil out of the filter so that a light coat of oil remains. Continue to massage the filter until the filter is evenly coated
Make sure you allow 24 hours for the filter oil to dry properly before you go riding."
So to the guy whom the crf ate dirt your filter wasn't oiled properly
So the best way to find out you needed to grease a filter is to dust an engine?
Pit Row
I’m nearing 50 hrs on a 21 Honduuur 450 using stock filter set up, no grease needed, no dirt getting by. 🤷🏾♂️
Just make sure the tabs at the back of the plastic ring are butted up against the back of the air box.
