Looking to pull the trigger on a 350 soon and would like your opinion on which one to go with. I’m leaning towards the gas gas. There isn’t a whole lot difference between the 3 manufacturers that have a 350 but I just can’t make up my mind. It will take the place of my KX450.

Pretty much just a matter of what color you like better.

I would rule out the Husky simply because of the subframe. I know at least 3 people personally that have broken them. I'd much rather have one that only bends.

I have a 21 KTM but if everything was equal I would go with the GasGas simply on looks. Get the map switch when new and use the saved money on upgrades you prefer.

I’d get the ktm. Better wheels then the GG, alum sub frame. Only thing I like more on the GG is the triple clamps

Recently went from 20 Kx450 to the 22 Ktm 350. With only 3.5 hrs on it I feel its a fun bike and easier to handle than the 450. Only complaint is spokes loosen quickly. Have to tighten every ride. Other than that similar to Kawi loctite every fastener or it will eventually loosen up. The Ktm clutch is def better than the kawi feel in my opinion. I went Ktm because that’s what was in stock n I got a better deal on. I could have waited for a Gas Gas but no word on when it would be in stock at my dealer.

Personally, when it comes to the new 350s...I'd go with the Husky due to the 1 inch lower suspension that brings the ride height down and apparently makes for easier cornering.

Ktm because it is the most "aggressive" build in my humble opinion.

They're all the same bike save for extremely minor differences/parts/plastics that you will NEVER notice as a rider unless you're a top high level racer.

Best way to think of it: Do you prefer Red w/ silver rims, Orange w/ black rims or White w/ black rims?

Or, an even easier question: Which one is the cheapest?

I like the feel of my '19 Husky 350 better than the '19 KTM 450 I had. I also like my buddy's '19 Husky 450 better than the KTM. Something about the feel that is better than the KTM.

They only use those on the Enduro models, the motocross and cross country bikes come with Brembos

Do you actually have a choice? There aren’t any 350s available near me, but I’d take any of the 3. You really can’t go wrong

Most everyone that has owned one will tell you they love it no matter which one you go with. I have a Husqy, love it…. GasGas is probably the way to go if you can either control yourself from swapping clamps, wheels and a bunch of other “upgrades” or you can afford to ball out and build a super sick bike. The GasGas which has the KTM subframe and the Husqy swing-arm (yes they’re different) I would imagine is the best blend of both worlds.

There is no logical reason this doesn't exist.

Honda has a history with the 350 displacement and it is the best vet bike displacement going so why not?

I have the 2020 350sxf. I had switched from 450's to 250's years ago because they were so much fun and I ride them faster than I ride the 450's. I was looking for a new 250. I tried the new kawi, the yami, the honda. I was really impressed with the new YZ, but I just wanted more power to where I'm not constantly banging gears. I love the 350. It feels almost as light as a 250f, turns good, has great power. You can really stretch those gears from turn to turn. Where a 250 needs a shift the 350 just keeps pulling hard up top.

Having said that, here are the few things that took some adaption on my part. I swapped the bars to Pro Tapers almost immediately. I didn't like the Neken bars at all. I went up one tooth (MXA special) on the rear sprocket to help get into 3rd a little sooner. The air forks are better than you think they are. They are leaps and bounds better that the TAC Showas that were on the KX's and RM's. But, they are still air forks and will take some time to dial in. If you are average weight and ability, the stock air pressure should be good or close. The biggest help to me was slowing down the rebound. It made the front end less busy going through breaking bumps. I'm going to try the spring fork conversion this winter to see if it improves the feedback and feel in flat corners.

You can’t go wrong with any of the 350’s. But anyone that says the Husky, KTM, And GG are just different colored KTM’s and are essentially the same hasn’t ridden them all. They all have slightly different characteristics. I would suggest riding the model you are thinking about buying if you have the opportunity.

This is so wrong. My ktm 350 feels nothing like the husky I’ve ridden. Saying average people can’t feel differences in bikes is such a tired trope

Like many have said the Husky subframe sucks. Know people that have broke multiple units without even crashing (maybe weakened from previous crash?). Even had one break from friend picking up the bike by rear fender not knowing any better

Knock on wood I’ve had no subframe issues, but my brother has broke a few and a supercross reenforced one

I would go with the KTm. Depends on what type of rider that you are as well.

Ktm= aggressive

Husky= comfort

Gas gas= somewhere between the two but less expensive. $900 cheaper……you could buy an extra set of wheels for that $900. Or……look at it this way…..You get 9 rear tires with the bike

I went with KTM just so I wouldn’t have an issue with plastic and parts. There’s more ktm’s sold so I would think that it is easier to get aftermarket stuff

I went red, EX. Still looks great after several off-road races. The last white bike I had looked terrible after the first ride. I got the map switch and honestly couldn’t tell you what the difference is in 1 and 2. I just leave it on 1 now. Brakes and clutch are great.

I went GasGas based mainly on the looks.

I’ve ridden numerous KTM and Husky’s and it’s no lie that they all feel a little different. This will be my first GasGas and I’m excited…if it ever gets here

Thanks for the replies and info everyone. Well there are no huskies in sight anywhere so that takes care of the white option. I put a deposit on a Gas Gas today that is suppose to be here in December. I believe it will fit my riding style now a days since I am knocking on the door of 30 and would be lucky to hang with B class. The only issue I am seeing is parts availability. Wheels and Bars should hopefully not be too big of a problem but exhaust is non existent yet. Hopefully they will release some parts as the bikes start rolling out.

I have a 350 sxf 2021, the exhaust of a 250/350sxf fits right on, and apparently the gasgas has the same subframe etc just different tank therefor the plastics dont bolt over.

Actually got a 2022 mc250 2stroke coming in november.

I went gasgas because I knew the platform worked for me and $1000 cheaper to me helped.

Pleasantly surprised to find out that the settings are PERFECT for my speed and style.

I did full exhaust (used from this site), opened up the airbox lid and adjusted the clickers/pressure and it’s really really good. I also added flexx bars because I had issues with my wrist and I actually like the set up on the gasgas. Since it has solid mounted clamps they can’t get twisted, and with the flexx bars they kill the impacts and vibes pretty good.

This bike also loves the Pirelli mx extra mid soft tires.

There might not be room in the segment for more players than you currently see. Our local MX series attracts 600-800 riders per race. I race in the +30 and +40 classes (the prime demographic for 350s), and I never see any on the gate with me. Plenty of KTMs and Huskys, but the are all 450s.

I have rode both and I’m currently on 450 but there are times I miss my 350. I had no issues at glen helen on a start with a 350 because they pull further in the rpm. Bottom in was lacking on me for 350( but if I would had better corner speed prob wouldn’t of been as much as a issue. I ran couple teeth more in rear. Now that I’ve worked on corner speed and lost some weight I wonder how much I’d like a 350 now but I got my 450 really dialed in now to want to switch
