Middle TN here, used bike prices are still insane but I have noticed that they aren't necessarily selling quick either. I will see someone post the same overpriced bike multiple times.

If anyone here is apart of the "MX yard sale" page on FB, that page is LITTERED with ridiculously overpriced bikes every day. 15 year old 450 and 250fs for $3500+, 2017 450s with 50+ hours for $7k+ its ridiculous.

I'm moved on from Yeti.. they market to yuppies now and match the price they will pay. Check out Meta Power from Commencal.. use same components and better frame.. almost half the price.. your welcome.. I love my Meta Power..

Like a previous poster said, the midwest prices are coming down. There's still some crazy prices, but anyone who wants to actually sell is starting to become reasonable. I paid $5500 for a low hour '19 450 a couple weeks ago. Seeing a lot of bikes sit for a long time with a ton of price reductions.

On the same type of topic, snowmobile prices are crazy high right now. It's going to follow the same trend.

Lots of Honda dealers in SoCal doing the "A.D.M" (Added Dealer Margin) to the tune of $1800, plus $400 freight charge, plus setup fee. It's too bad because I have an incredible memory- when those dealers have a surplus in the future, I won't be sending my customers there.
Actually, my customers don't even go to the dealership. They FedEx a check, or do a wire transfer to the dealer and I get the bike picked up. How easy is that?

I remember local Honda shops in SoCal charging upwards of $13-14K OTD for a 2019/2020 Honda 450L/450X about a year ago.

Met someone that paid over $15K for a '21 RWE.

Those days appear to be ending.

Got quoted $4200 OTD for a crf 110 in Alabama when I went down for Moto America

$2,499 bike
$545 freight
$655 assembly
$299 Doc
4% extra Alabama tax

I do not need a 110 that bad.

$1200 freight and set-up on a $2499 bike is just price gouging. That's ridiculous.

Local Honda/Kawi dealer is adding on $1000 to every CRF/KLX110 before any fees are added on. They want well over $5k out the door as of last week. They are adding even more for big bikes. I refuse to use them for anything unless it’s an absolute emergency needing something.

I bought the first 21 TTR110 out of our local Yamaha dealer during that peak in 2020 and paid $3200 out the door. A buddy bought a KLX110 about 2 months ago and paid $5000. I don’t care what anyone says, the KLX and CRF110 isn’t worth that extra $2k over the TTR.

Be careful what you wish for! I got a new 110 last year for a good price, broke hell out of my wrist just riding it down a powerline road. I grew up riding 110s, they bite sometimes as you get older.

Haha are there really people out there that can drop that kind of money on price jump for kids, hobby, fun? Just a point where maybe roller blades on the boardwalk can be fun? I really hope the economy wheel keeps turning but dam those numbers make me want to crawl in a hole for a while.

My local dealer is charging retarded prices. $7300 on a used 2018 YZ250F. $8300 for a used 2020 YZ250F with a shaved seat. That shop disgusts me with what they do. Used market has been coming down even though its the middle of summer. Winter should be nice

Haha we originally bought it for my daughter. She decided she likes riding horses more, so now it’s split between my son learning to shift and me play riding. I’ll do my best not to get hurt on it though. I’m too afraid to jump these things so I think that should help me stay healthy a bit longer haha

Well think of it this way, there’s guys out there dropping $6000+ for 50’s, so there’s no shortage of people willing to spend that on a 110, especially for themselves. If they told me I had to pay that Much for a 110, I would have walked away without issue.

Got my 22 crf 110 about 8 months ago. $2750 otd. Not every dealer is crazy. Priced a gg 125 2022 in az a few months ago. Msrp was like $7200. Otd was like $9500.
Not me bro. Im back home now. And when that 2023 tc 125 hits the dealer ill pay msrp otd and not a penny more!!

I'm on the list with my local dealer for a 23 KTM125sx. We will see what the price comes in at. I am not paying a markup. The "men's toys" market is collapsing and next year will be brutal for selling new and used anything.

Agreed that not every dealer is crazy. Just our local Honda/Kawi/KTM dealer is for sure! Thankfully we have an awesome Yamaha/Suzuki/Beta/Triumph dealer not too far away(Simi Valley Cycles) that doesn’t try to screw the consumer.

Used market seems soft here. Prices are high but things aren’t moving at the super high prices. It doesn’t seem like new stuff is moving quite as quick either unless it is a dealer selling at or under msrp.

Used prices around here all seem to be dropping and still not selling
