Would they, could they, should they? I know there are rules, but who do you think makes them...
If not they are facing a Blu Cru sweep.

If jett can minimize the damage at Ironman and pala or March the points I think he takes it at pala. He beat Ferrandis last year And Jmart and Cooper winning his first overall at pala. This year he was the best guy by a mile. Just gotta see what happens at hangtown, Ironman.

What makes you think the ‘22 without time & development is better than his ‘21?
Just like it's big brother, it's got quite a pedigree. Jett needs starts bad.

No, they have zero testing on that bike.

oh I dont know he has been doing very well on the '21, if he would just get his starts.....

Given lack of development on the '22 I highly doubt both he and Hunter will swap before end of outdoor season, perhaps Hunter could as part of development?

Edit: just saw video above, maybe they will

RV jumped on the 2012 KX during the 2011 outdoors and his results were better. If this bike in stock form is a step ahead the 21 it might not take much to make it a better race bike too

Langston jumped on a new model and had better results, we just don't know, but its a thought.

Don't worry, they wrote the rules...
(3) Compliance with homologation requirements will not guarantee an AMA homologation. The homologation may be withdrawn for a just cause that the AMA and the FIM deems in the best interest of the sport.

Don't worry; if Honda wants a new bike homologated, Honda gets a new bike homologated.

Dunge was slapping around RV on the '11. He didn't have much to lose switching. Jett is riding pretty damn good on the '21

What it comes down to is if Jett rides the bike, feels more comfortable and is as fast or faster on it he’ll probably race it. The bikes not going to be that different. They’ll put the same suspension and important items on it and it’ll be very close to what he’s currently riding anyways. We’re not talking about him currently riding a 2010 and jumping to a 2022.

So if they deem it is best for the sport they can allow Triumph, Beta etc..to race without meeting the homologation requirements….seems like you are talking out of both sides of your mouth….you want this rule to change for the little guy but yet you want to use the rule to allow Jett to race a bike that isn’t available yet….Ok gotcha…

If Jett were up 40 or down 40 points I could see it. This close, they have to go with what they really know.

I remember it just fine. Up until Unadilla he had RV covered. RV switched to the '12 for Unadilla and won 4 out of the next 6 motos. Even still the dnf at Freestone is what killed Dungey.

LOL, he was the points leader heading into Unadilla. That's NOT getting slapped around, so might as well switch to the 2012 bike!
