Will Deegan go straight to pro's or will he spend a year or two on the 250 in amateurs? I was thinking Star would have picked him up now to give him a couple years on the bike before going pro

I saw a post somewhere saying he signed with Star Yamaha yesterday and will jump straight onto the 250f. Take that for what you will bec I'm not sure I believe it since not much has been mentioned on here

The Deegans are smart and very media savvy. Of course he is going to deny it, they want to control the narrative. As of now he is still under KTM contract so he is fulfilling the contract as he should.

Casey has a Monster Logo on the side of his GG so why couldn't Deegan go GG and keep his Monster sponsorship? I always hear the issue with KTM is they are Redbull and Deegan wont drop his Monster deal. That would keep him under the Austrian umbrella and help promote GG.

Deegan’s are supposed to be down in Florida testing a ktm this week. I think both him and Cochran are in talks with ktm and star

He isn't old enough to go pro yet(only 15). Brian was hell bent on him racing two more years of amaturs(250B-2022, 250a-2023) but he recently backed off that stance and said he might go pro in a year. He will be racing B class at Mini-o and in 2022.

Deegan is definitely smarter than an inanimate object, a whip, but it was not inspiring when he questioned if "More stronger" is a word. I'm guessing he's going to excel more with invaluable life experiences than academic education.

They all become humble with time, as Brian did, but for now Haiden seems to have a young-Brian's attitude. At least he's not dressed like Mad Max while constantly saying, "Keeping it real!". .

Weather you like him or not....if he's on a Honda, Kawi or Yami....his career is going to be fun to watch....cheering for or against!

Yamaha has the best 250 program right now. If he gets an offer id be taking it. Especially with how KTM keeps swapping these kids out after 1 or 2 bad seasons

What would happen to his Monster/FMF if he joins Redbull KTM team... Testing KTM also is just to get Yamaha offer more money?

Is unproven in pro race performance and reliability as yet. So you go with new platform and team that isn't winning champs in USA and hi rider turnover or team with family sponsor backing and #1 plates on the door?
They using KTM for lever on Yamaha and why would you not test opposition bike if you could?
