I think Mitch has had to modify his lower salary/high bonus strategy over the last several years. Seems I read that somewhere here.

When they tried to sign him for 21 it was going to be a 5 rider team. That situation might be slightly different though since Geico folded so late in the year.

I thought it was PC also, with Jeremy not dismissing Matthes "what you shoulda done to mitch is walk in and demand a ride for Alex too" so I thought it was for sure PC. BUT, if you listen later on in the show Matthes got a text from someone confirming he Re-Signed with Star for 2022 for a 250 ride. Hopefully, he secured two full years guaranteed.

For everyone thinking PC that would have left Mitch with 7 riders assuming Shimoda is back. Reynolds will be with them next year along with the returning riders. Sounds like maybe a couple will not riding Green next year.

Would be a good pickup for ClubMX to grab Smith. He would feel less pressure and on great equipment.

Factory Kawi freed up a lot of money (ET3) They can get JM6 cheap on a 2yr deal with lites indoor deal and 450 mx in 21 then full 450 in 22’. Yes I know I Mitch is the lites team but they’ve done it before with factory lites guys in JS and Hot Sauce back in day. It could happen.

The martin brother i would like to see get a life line with Mitch is Alex. He doesn't have many years left and i think his willingness to do anything and mitch's ability to get the best out of most riders that's rode for him. Alex is a rider mitch knows hes gonna give it his all off and on the track. Just feel like he would be the next shimoda for the team. A solid rider and at the least at dark horse outdoor title threat. He always says he can work with speed.

How many riders next year do you think Mitch can have ? Lol it's my understanding that he already have 5 with Reynolds moving up. Unless Jordan Smith is gone I don't see anyone else on the team next year.

Why wouldn’t he? If he wanted to sign with PC he would’ve done so last year. He and the Star Yamaha are clearly capable of winning - if not for the injuries he’d be well on his way to championship #3. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
