RC and Ivan Cervantes possibly working with Triumph on a full off-road range.

Clickbait nonsense. Triumph is pairing with these two to help promote and add legitimacy to their adventure bike offerings.

I think you're right on that, but, one tries to hope otherwise.............. Whistling

The whole 'influencer / ambassador' thing leaves me cold, though, that might be because I'm a grumpy old bastard.

I doubt it... RC was just cashing in on his name to make some quick cash with Triumph and that pit bike company he endorsed......

sticking your name on bad bikes isn't a great idea when you are considered the "goat", who is advising RC on what marketing to take on??...... does rc need the money that bad??? thought he made the lion's share during the glory days......

Ive had some bad luck with my triumph. Daytona 675 is my daily driver and so far I replaced the motor, exhaust flapper, stator 2x, reg/rectifier, brake fluid reservoir, coolant reservoir, map sensor 2x. Constant problems from the bike.

I had a Daytona 955i as my first bike, and after a few years it was my last bike.

You think Triumphs are bad bikes Grinning

Nothing wrong with making money either way. You’re probably the only one who would think it somehow takes away from his legend status.

Vital: RC shouldn't stick his name on bad bikes.
Also Vital: Suzuki is the worst MX bike ever.

Saying you wouldnt trade it for a Harley isnt exactly high praise is it.

They used to be built in my hometown, most of them are done overseas now.

Well, I guess I’ve been to the hometown (assuming we’re talking about Hinckley)?

How many years it will take them to match privateers speed on MX races?

I stand corrected, and I’m happy about it. Welcome to the sport, Triumph!

I'm quite wrapt that my pessimism was unfounded.

Triumph, since the John Bloor resurrection, have powered on.

I hope to see their progress on this project, soon. It's a completely different side of the MC market, but I hope they do well.

So this means no more RC in the booth for supercross.
Thank you Lord.

Tried replying to the first of the many (and probably many more to come) Triumph threads, sorry if this ain't it....

Does anyone know if they are going to be KTM based (no negativity from me) or a legit venture of their own? Just curious, that's all.
