HRC Honda

I know it is still early but man they hold the red plates in all three championships they are in. Kenny (450), Jett (250) and Tim (MXGP) are making those honda great right. They only miss a rider or two in MX2, even though Tom Vialle would be tough to beat anyway.

Great effort for the red.

Let me say, the new bike is phenomenal.

It’s hard to compare it to prior years as literally every aspect of the bike is better.

Quite frankly, Honda should’ve gotten their shit together years ago following the ‘08. This new chassis is them very much having their shit together 🙂

Stoked to see the Hondas winning again.

I remember during the GP Malin was talking about how Honda wants to win and is willing to do it right to get it done. So far so good. The only way I can put it is, those bikes just look so composed out there.

The 4 guys in the US 🇺🇸 are smoothest most technical riders out there. The bikes look great. Rider or bike?

Meh, they looked good early in SX and didn't win jack. 2 Yammy's and a KTM took the championships. Maybe this is different. Too soon to tell.

Kenny winning an Outdoor title for Honda in the US would be a massive deal. Hope to see it!

If Jett wins the outdoor title.. he will be hard to beat come SX season.

The Hondas have been looking good for the last 4 yrs. or so. The 20 models last yr also looked very good in SX & MX.
The R&D they’ve been doing is definitely paying off. Hopefully KR94 can get the MX title this yr..

At the beginning of SX Kr was saying the new bike was amazing.

Before the end of SX he was saying they were “searching for settings”

You can never believe a word they say to the press.

To be fair to HRC and the bike, KR finds every reason BUT himself when he’s struggling.

I hope Ken can get it done for Honda. This was the last US title that bike won.

But everyone on here said that it was a flop and Honda dropped the ball even though all the shootouts said it was a better bike than last years.

The bike looks good. The riders are good. We are 4 motos in, let's just see what happens. Someone open this one up at the end of the year.

A guy that never blamed the bike or team. Always looked in the mirror for answers to his problems.

The exact opposite of Kenny.

Last time the bike was this good (and should’ve won the title) was Reed in 2011 imo.

That 15 model that Et3 had to start the MX season before he got hurt looked like is was pretty dialed as well. Wasn’t he beating the 2nd place rider RD on the KTM by around a minute a moto ?
It was very impressive to say the least since RD was no slouch..

I’ve read the opposite: got trashed in shootouts, owners love them.

KR is killing it right now but I’m still rooting for Sexton.

I think all outlets communicated that it was a pretty damn good bike platform that came to them with some confounding factory set up.

How about when they gave (MXA?) the works edition and a factory tech for a bike review... and sent them out accidentally with the old ECU mapping. What a epic PR fail.

Honda could care less these days. KTM came with the intention of dethroning the mighty Honda and did just that. Honda rolled over and just went to focus on UTVs (and I cant blame them - $$$$$).

Wow, I just realized the CRF450 has never won a Supercross title. Last big bike title indoors for Honda was Ricky in '03 on a CR250 right? Unbelievable. Would be amazing for HRC and Ken to get this MX title

One moto he beat everyon by a minute, but generally was winning between 14 to 30 plus seconds a moto

And, with regard to the thread, Tomac wasn't riding for HRC.

Yep. The CRF450 only has one American title to its name. 2004 MX.

Did they tell you this secret info? It's amazing that they have spent all of these millions of dollars because they just don't care.

You really believe it was the BIKE that was the advantage??

Its an irony that you say it looked so ‘dialled’ when it actually spat poor Eli off ending his season.

Yup, sure shootouts were not kind, the min thing being the ECU settings and some confused suspension settings, but when dialled and ECU fixed, everyone I know who has one loves it, go figure.

And to be fair ANY of the 450's when dialled are damn good...it is a shame Honda dropped the ball on ECU and settings for the '21....I expect the '22 to do very well in shootouts if they have those 2 main things sorted...probably much to the disgust of the Honda haters here

It’s hardly a secret. When they closed down the HRC operations in California they gutted the dept. The focus in R&D and staff is on the UTVs in Ohio.
