Like the part about no other major motorsports having entry fees. Either they are willfully lying, or woefully ignorant. You choose.
Now I'm not a fan since his entire motivation seems to be to stir the pot and be provocative for hits, but in the market place of ideas, trying to silence others for mere uniformed (and relatively harmless) opinions is a slippery slope.
If that is the case then my question is do other motor sports allow drivers or riders to put up their own on board video with no review? How do they handle this in MXGP?
I honestly don’t know the answer.
Not related to the latest video, but the videos he posted this week are quite gold. I didn't know much about him but some questions or thoughts made me a fan, A+ on grit. Asking some hard questions, or questionable moves, will only make his followers base grow.
Pit Row
You'd be familiar with Ben Cathros' stuff? Well, he's been limited in his footage, at times. But, they've seen the benefit from his and others efforts being out there, and, opened things up a bit to him / them.
I'm not sure if it involves payment, or, being under, say, Red Bull's wings.
So, Pit / Team stuff, may have far less restrictions than SX / Outdoors, but, there are still 'rules' that have to be followed, and, it varies from one videographer / Team, to another(s) from what I can gather.
There are limits , be they by the UCI, or Red Bull ( or 'others' ) imposing them. But they are a bit less constricting, it seems, than those placed on SX / Outdoors.
Every time you click it, he gets paid
Ignore it all.
Is this guy complete bullshit or is that how it went down? I'm not sure half the stuff this coach guy says is credible. He makes Cooksey not look as bad.
Also do tracks on the national level actually lose money every single year hosting a national?
