Just an appreciation post. This guy never fumbles in his videos/broadcasts. His weege show videos on YouTube are always perfect and his way of plugging the Honda Talon in the beginning of every video just fits and never feels out of place. And he can switch back and forth between topics and never miss a beat. I know he gets a lot of recognition on here, but I feel like his talent is head and shoulders above the rest in other sports as well.

Blair is great, but they both have their areas of expertise and I think they compliment each other well. Weege can’t do a Blair’s breakdown and Blair can’t do a weege show. We can let them both shine.

I am beyond impressed with Weege's ability to monologue. I have a YouTube channel and have to script out everything and do multiple takes for a 30 second clip. He can wax on for 15-20 minutes without missing a beat. He never hunts for words and can pull a lot of historical information out of his ass. The most impressive thing to me is that he doesnt take himself too seriously. That is a quality in short supply these days, especially in the media. All hail, Weege.

I was a bit surprised to listen to his interview on DMXS this week. He said he just found out (confirmed) he was announcing the Nationals. What?

Maybe I misheard, but the guy is an absolute treasure / icon to the amateur and pro motocross community.

Looking forward to the Outdoors with Weege behind the mic. 🎤

I agree the Weege is the man. It's because he loves the sport so much. Daniel Blair is also at the top of the heap. His "Blair's Breakdown" is the best race commentary out there.

Steel City 2001, night before the race my girlfriend and I were in the hotel bar. I was wearing a KTM hat which identified me as a moto fan. Weege was there with a couple of other guys from Racer X. That hat struck up a conversation about the Langston/Brown title fight. We closed the bar after bench racing all night.

Almost 20 years later that girl is my wife and Weege still remembers us by name at every race we’ve seen him at since. He’s a good guy and always takes time to chat with us a bit.
